The sort of throws that guys like Weeden and Quinn would never even attempt and would just dump it off.
That makes me want to see him for the rest of the year.
FWIW I still want Jake Browning who I think has throws the best ball in CFB.
Don't get fooled by what you see with Kizer. Yes, he does some "wow" things but they will never correct the fact that he misses a lot of receivers BADLY with his throws. Holding on to the ball too long, you can fix. Making bad decisions, you can learn from and fix. Not being able to hit the broad side of a barn, in certain situations, you CAN'T fix.
Whenever the Browns get in the red zone, I'm expecting him to turn the ball over in some foolish way and he did it twice (bad pitch to Crowell and the interception), again today.
Even if they upgrade the receiving corps, I don't know how much improvement we'll see from him. Granted, I did say he does have some things that are fixable, but he missed a WIDE open TD to Njoku that most QB's, even rookies, would've seen. At this stage, he should be able to scan the field enough to see the TE is standing alone in the end zone.
