Glad we won the series. Crimson was for sure our playoff thread man this year...but still didn't want him doing it after a series loss lol.

I don't know if the times are locked in or still subject to change but I'm seeing first pitch at 7:35 on Thursday and 5:05 on Friday.

Locked in. We are late game Thursday, and 2nd AL game Friday. Really the best time slots, FS1 must be assuming Yabks win. I don't really ever cheer for a certain opponent, cause it's just asking for complacency/jinxing/whatever. But Yankees legit scare me more than the rest of the AL, so lets go Twins (but I may just not watch at all).

I think that with our history, combined with our outstanding finish, we are afraid of any post season opponent.

We are wondering when the crash occurs.

I agree with this. Mainly bc of their bullpen. I'll have the ALDS series thread up after the Yankees twins game.

Goddamn I am so fucking excited for this postseason. Baseball is a different animal, but I was so confident in every aspect of this team going into the season, it feels like the Cavs. Just waiting to get through regular season before the real games start.

The fact that the Twins are using their ace tomorrow and Yankees are pitching their 3rd/4th guy, makes me want the Twins to win even more. Their ace can't throw game 1 of ALDS.

Severino is about to be 3rd in the CYA...he is undoubtedly the Yanks Ace. What are you taking about?

I realize Severino has been their best pitcher, but he has been their 3rd guy in the rotation all year. What I meant was that even though their guy that has been their best this year is pitching tonight, their #1 guy in the rotation will still be available Thursday. Not so for the Twins.

I get your point though, Severino being only able to pitch 1 game in a 5 game series now seems like not a bad option either.

Thats only cause he started the season behind Tanaka. Similar to Kluber the year he won the CYA when Masterson was "our #1", but nobody would actually think that. Same way nobody considers Tanaka/Gray/CC as ahead of Severino on the Yanks roster.
