Are you being for real?

The whole "pay $1 to post" thing is kind of silly and a dumb business idea (because you're charging the people who provide the real traffic-driving content), but I don't begrudge you guys for trying to make some money.

But gonging me for pointing out that the "content" had typos and wasn't well-written? Are you serious? I've been nothing but good to you guys for over a decade. I didn't swear, I didn't attack, I didn't name call, I didn't break any of the rules, yet you decided to ban me for something trivial, innocuous, and completely within the rules?

Screw that.

That's the way it was a while back.

We were all a grandfather in the forums but had to pay for the content on the website if we wanted to see it.

They then decided to make the site all free and take on 433 million sponsors/inflolinks.

That only paid about 30.00 per day and it just didn't cut it.

When I joined in March 2006, it was 6.95 a month.

I paid for 1 month then cancelled but quickly realized what I was subscribing to was the actual site and once I cancelled, I could still post in the forums.

The 6.95 is all I ever paid except for a 10.00 donation back yonder recently.

I want to first offer an apology on behalf of Bucknuts for the swift and decisive decision to begin charging for the Premium Forums

He said yesterday in the thread he deleted that they took months to come to this decision.

The fact that they banned FFT is a great sign that they really lost all capability for rational thought over there. FFT was probably the most respected Huddler for his temperament and knowledge. He did nothing ban worthy... like many other respected Huddlers... but they banned him anyways.

You have got to be kidding me ! I went there for the HS FB forums for years. Something I could not find anywhere else. I always was respectful, even though I could never find any rule ever posted. Most sites I join allow me to express my opinion. I did that last fall in regards to a HS FB coach who must have been a friend of one of JJ's. I was not rude. I just expressed my opinion. Next thing I know, is I get a three month ban. I am only there for the FB season. So it was not a big deal to me. But no real reason was given for my ban. I just have to guess that it was for expressing my opinion about said coach. All of my other posts on JJ were of the cheerleading variety. So I can only guess the post about the coach is what got me banned. However, I sent several e-mails in an effort to find out why I got banned , so that I would be sure not to cross the line, whatever that may have been again. I never got one response.

On Thursday, I said on JJ that I would be checking out this site, based on what another poster had posted. I was respectful once again. But received a lifetime ban. This time a reason was given..... for spamming !

What I like about this site already is that the rules are simple and clearly spelled out. And they do not ban you immediately for speaking your opinion so long as you adhere to the rules. That is cool !

I do not live in Ohio. I followed JJ primarily because of my connnections in Dover. I can assure you that JJ lost many more Dover fans than just me as a result of their recent actions.
