I feel safe in saying I wouldn't fall down though. I would however take off and go decoy slower than I am knowing he gives a big head start in hopes that he would give an extra second or two and then kick in whatever top speed I had.

Dude can motor though.
I'm not sure the distance. 200m seemed too short so I was guesstimating. I read that he (Freeze) actually messed around with the 200m in the olympic trials recently, so there's no shame in losing to him. He's one of the fastest in the country at that distance racing random dudes out of the stands wearing khaki shorts. But a couple of these guys have just absolutely wiped out racing him.

Cody Bellinger with his 6th 2 HR game....now with 24 HR

Dodgers were 9-11 before he was called up.....they are 42-15 with him in the lineup.

MLB all-time rookie record for multi HR games is Mark McGwire with 7.....Bellinger has 6 in 57 games

Kenley Jansen hit a double and stayed in to pitch 9th...then allowed his first walk of the season. Now he sits at:

52 K

Last night a fan threw a ball from the stands and hit umpire Joe West in the back of the head. I don't condone this sort of activity but if you are going to do this I can't think of an umpire who deserves this more than Joe West.

SMH...home plate ump Bill Mueller rings up Lorenzo Cain on a ball way off the plate and then between innings meets him going out to CF and throws him from the game

Cubs down 10-0 and still in top of first. Lester threw 51 pitches and only got 2 outs.

MLB is infinitely better at all aspects of their all-star stuff

Sano finishing 7th out of 8 in first round and 3rd out of 4 in second round didn't seem right either.

Judge hit 4 450+ foot opposite field home runs.

Stanton didn't advance but hit 12 HR over 480 feet

Easily the best all-star game out of the big 3 (MLB-NFL-NBA)

Was listening to an interview and there's a conspiracy theory that they are looking to recreate the steroid era (Bonds, McGwire, Sosa) to keep younger fans interested (dig the long ball) by continuing to tighten up the baseballs. This, coupled with the fact that you have NBA (height)/NFL (body type) younger guys coming up who are knocking the cover off the ball.

Balls seem marginally harder but the StatCast info on launch angle has without a doubt added to home run totals.

It's the only All-Star game worth watching.

Huh, Pirates sweep Brewers to both make it a close 3-4 (depending on where the Cards and their 4.5 deficit place them in the equation) team race in the NL Central and give me the hope they won't be selling for the deadline, giving me something to hope for down the stretch.

They aren't playing great or anything, but they're gutting out close games effectively and their relievers are getting people out instead of turning into oil cans with depressing regularity.

David Price showing some immaturity. Makes $217 million but can't take any criticism.

Fun Fact: Eckersley's career > Price's career, which makes his open taunting of Eck more hilarious.

You mean David Price and his 5.7 postseason ERA isn't in the HOF? I think Eck is.

What did Eckersley say about Price? Either way, it's a bad look for Price.

Nothing about him. Apparently, they showed some other Red Sox player's stats during a game Eck was doing and he said "yuck". Which apparently offended Price. But he's been a major league bitch this season, feuding with Boston media, saying he'd only talk during his days to pitch and generally coming off as comically thin-skinned.
