I hate MLB.com. Makes you watch a 15-30 second ad to watch a 10 second clip.

Wow. I mean I get there's bad blood between those two teams right now. But a 77 mph slider isn't a "bad blood" pitch smh.

Wade Miley lasts 2/3 of an inning before being removed due to 2 consecutive batters lining the ball back and drilling him

Big time postseason feel to the Cubs/Yanks game. Runners on 2nd/3rd 2 outs and Chapman facing Bryant/Rizzo

On this date 30 years ago Eric Davis had a season going of 18 HR, 21 SB, 36 RBI, 41 runs, .355 avg and 1.235 OPS

In just 40 games

Just saw the Harper replay. Good for him for going after that pitcher. Fuck pitchers who intentionally throw fastballs at players.

You see the reason? Harper MURDERED 2 huge home runs off him in 2014 in the postseason.....but same year Giants won it all.

Buster Posey just stood and let Harper go and then stood back and watched the melee

I wish Harper would've tagged him with that helmet but probably would've gotten a huge suspension.

Lol at Jeff Samardzija flying into Michael Morse

Yeah that's what they said on the highlight I watched. It's such bullshit, Harper hit 2 HR's off you a couple years ago so you throw a 90mph fastball at him? Shitty

I mean....you won it all that year, and Stickland had some big moments for those Giants in the postseason.

Tip your cap and let it the fuck go.

I am normally not to advocate for him, but I'm on Harper's side yesterday. Bullshit.

Not surprised Posey held back. Dude knows that as a star on SF, he's about first in line to get a retaliation plunking for this, so he was probably thinking, "Fuck you, asshole...not even gonna pretend to have your back on this one."

2,000 strikeouts for kershaw, in 1838 innings. Only one faster was Randy Johnson.

I saw RJ faster in fewer career games pitched but didn't see the innings one. Nolan was right at that 1838 inning number as well. Nolan had a lot of relief appearances affecting his games pitched total.
