I wonder if it is Dusty Baker's personal opinion that he himself would be an upgrade from Girardy!

I wouldn’t mind a short explanation of what those two things mean. “Dirty” “color filter”

How do those cover up his head?

Well, dirty means anything our company is putting a virtual graphic on. We get the clean feed (straight feed of the camera output) of a camera, run it through our render machine, into our control machine where we can alter and out lines/graphics/adds/etc on and then output a "dirty" feed to the switcher to be put on air.

In order to not draw on players, we color filter very specific shadings. Typically, green (the field). It's why you see the "sparkle" on the lines and down and distance feathers at times. Particularly with rolling cloud covers, insanely bright sun or the black pebbles of the new field turf stadiums. In the case of the baseball, it would've been the wall, so anything going in front of the wall is filtered and not drawn on with our elements.

So, either we had a bad one, or we were tweaking the solution and told the director to take clean (feed without our elements) and he messed up and caught us while we were still trying to make it right

Predictions for tonight? Astros haven't lost at home yet this postseason. Houston has seen Darvish more than just about anybody but he has been excellent of late. McCullers is hit or miss but typically better at home. Houston currently a -131 betting favorite. I think the average Joe will think that the Houston bats woke up and now momentum is on their side. Not so fast my friend. I think the Dodgers win tonight on their way to taking 2 of 3 in Houston and winning this series in 6. I could actually see the Dodgers winning all 3 here if they can get this one tonight. This bullpen for Houston is a train wreck. I don't think there is anybody out there that anybody would feel comfortable to close a game out.

I predict I will be mad the Indians didn’t beat the Yankees. Every time I watch the Astros I am reminded that they blew it. I don’t know if they could have beat the Dodgers but I am confident they would still be playing.

I won't be watching. Because the Indians pissed me off a few weeks ago.

Gotta move on. It was great year but sometimes it just doesn't work out. Both games have been tremendous, as I am sure you have heard. I wish it was the Tribe but doesn't mean I won't watch was has been a riveting series thus far.

Yeah, it's less to do with Tribe, but it still does puss me off (mostly cause I remember last year). But, I'll also be at work. I'll watch the closeout games if I'm free.

I think the Astros know Darvish well. I’m leaning Astros 7-4

Astros with a 4 spot in the 2nd knocking Darvish out of the game, then the next half inning McCullers can't handle prosperity and walks the bases loaded with no out. Then a giant double play, scoring a run and then gets the 3rd out to be extremely fortunate to be ahead 4-1.

That was lucky as hell by Stripling...missed target bad and right over plate and Springer just missed it....would’ve sealed with a grand slam

Stick with Peacock to at least start the 9th.

I think the difference in this series so far is the managing

I agree. Both McCullers and Peacock get 3+ inning saves in game 7 and game 3. Because, as Smoltz said, Hinch used his eyes in addition to metrics to manage the games. He correctly identified that each had an un-hitable pitch going for them those nights and forsook the classic closer save attempt. Peacock last night with the fastball, and McCullers with the curve - throwing like 17 curve balls in a row to clinch the ALCS.

So...does Dave Roberts remain stubborn or does he stay with the guy throwing a no-hitter?

I predict he pulls him after he gives up his first hit or after 6 innings....whichever comes first regardless of decently low pitch count.

Dodgers get the grand slam that Springer almost got last night.

You are correct. I forgot that the runner from 3rd came in just before on the SF.

Altuve's diminutive size cost the Astros the 3rd run in the first, along with the throw from the race insensitive first baseman.

Astros score 4 to tie, but they are going to have to get at least 16 outs from their bullpen tonight. And they walk the lead-off hitter on the first batter after the 4 spot.
