Yeah it seems forever ago he was 6/16 off the Giants in NLDS and 7/22 with 4 doubles in NLCS winning MVP honors.

He's offensively been trash this series but still must be accounted for. One of those 93 mph fastballs 3 inches lower he drills and maybe Cubs had him see 500 curveballs on outside portion to help him stop swinging. The time cannot be any bigger...you know issues are trying to be improved.

Buster Olney reporting the ball is flying during batting practice in this strangely warm weather...mixed with Joe West's tight strike zone.

Will we see a high scoring game? Doubtful but the conditions are set.

I personally don't want Rajai to start any game. Save him for a leadoff baserunner to pinch run for and get to 3rd.

On the positive sign, whomever is on base with Baez up should be able to steal pretty easily as you know they are going to keep at it until he lays off.

Does anyone else think Pete Rose is surprisingly good on TV?

Yes. He's good. Not surprised.

ARod is the guy who is breaking out. He's a star. Just tremendous.

Agree that A-Rod may have found his retirement job, very good so far.
I also see Smoltz managing soon, if he wants to

Pete can be Barkley but can also knock you back with what he knows and how he sees things.

Arod really is excellent.

Frank Thomas...he's a likable guy and is really really big. Met him at Fanfest last year...gentle monster

Good thing.....

Cubs have no career success against Tomlin. Zobrist with most hits but is 3/23

Rosenthal just reported almost exactly what I said in the Cubs working hard with Baez. I look for fewer HR swings and more oppo shots.

You have done your part. Good job.

Happy Birthday to Coco Crisp. Thanks for all you have done on this ride.

As I type this, HR by some Cub who's name I don't know, nor do I care.

Because.......

Go Tribe.
