Yeah, I hate ttun, but still, Peppers being invited is a joke--hell, he wasn't even the best defensive player on his own team (I thought Jourdan Lewis was better and more valuable). I don't know if the Heisman trust is trying to patronize the B1G or what, but this makes more of a mockery of this piece of hardware that it has already become...it's sad.

I've said it all along, Peppers is a great athlete. Hell, a great football player. But there is a reason he "plays" so many positions. He doesn't have a position. And I don't mean that as a compliment. He isn't a DB, he isn't a LB, he isn't a RB. If he had to do any of those full time and never player another position, he MIGHT be all conference. And as stated, he isn't even the neat defensive player on Michigan's roster. It took him almost 3 full seasons to get an interception.

To have him even invited to the Heisman ceremony is a shame. And anyone who voted for him should have their privileges taken away.

Not to me. The stated goal is to have the four best teams. If three of the best four are from a single league, so be it. If you go with the "Jeopardy Tournament of Champions" approach, the only thing non-conference games do is to act as a tiebreaker for the fourth and fifth sports. 25% of your schedule should have more meaning than that.

What a joke. It doesn't matter though because ESPN has been pushing Lamar Jackson since the pre-season and he will win the award. I'm not a fan of Jackson, he sucks and would ride the bench on a team that's won something in the past 50 years.

No... Just no. The LSU/Bama Nat. Champ. game was the worst I can ever remember watching. Why not just skip all of March Madness altogether, and just put the four #1 seeds in the final four?

And what happens when VT lucks out and beats Clemson. They get in the playoff? People's arguments over the playoff are so dumb it makes them look retarded. Oh if PSU and OSU were flipped OSU would still be in... Oh based on absolutely nothing and you're just throwing dumb shit against the wall and hoping it sticks.

Yeah, not sure why they used those numbers,but the rest is pretty cool I think. One thing I learned yesterday, that I didnt know and people are bringing up, is that the flag on their right sleeve is indeed where it was located back in the day. Nowadays we see the flag on the left sleeve shown "backwards" to signify advancing forward.

My co-workers have called a meeting at 3pm today to watch the Navy uniform unveil. It's crazy how much society revolves around the Navy football program.

Not excited here. Concerned. Concerned that marketing goofs try and over emphasize something that *shouldn't be a focal point and takes away from the most important thing... they play of the game. I hate alternate unis. I hate flashy attempts at marketing programs.

So do I most times. Army/Navy is about the only time I really care much about them.. I hate when teams start putting together unis that dont even have their colors.
