Did you go on lockdown? If the shooter is still loose, why was the lockdown lifted so quickly?

We did not go on lockdown. Other schools that were closer did. Heard a sibling was at school (Peebles or Western)

I just drove by the intersection of Rt 32 and Union Hill Rd on my way home. On occasion there will be a car ready to turn into the highway, but I just counted 5 TV vans, 3 ambulances and 5 or 6 law enforcement cars. My carpool ride wanted to stop at the Dairy Bar about 4 miles away and it was closed due to the happenings in the area.

This is about 12 miles from Piketon. It's Western school district and a rough rural area that I can't explain how far behind times they are. Union Hill Rd dissects Adams and Pike Counties. Many reports are saying Peebles Ohio but it's about 10 miles away. That side of Adams Co is very old fashioned and churchy. Betting the killer lives in Western Pike Co

Just watched a recent news video and the one crime scene area was just a couple hundred yards from that intersection I pass 5x a week. Also said a 3 year old, 6 month old and a 4 day old survived. Rhoden family. The 37 year old killed was friends with one of our special ed aides at school.

Interesting, the say none of the dead were suicide, but there's no active shooter?

Nevermind, now I see they say a suspect is out there.. crazy story. Very sad. Gotta be someone close to the family, obviously.

Been following the news reports on this all day long. Really sad situation. You have to be a seriously fucked up individual to kill a mother that is laying in bed next to her 4 day old child.

I hope they find whoever did this quickly. I'm sure the rest of the family in the area isn't feeling too comfortable right now.

1) this person knew the family. That's obvious.
2) there was some serious hatred, to go house to house and be able to kill someone laying beside a newborn.

So as far as getting a suspect, I don't think it will take long. Probably have multiple people that they want to talk to already. If you hate that many people in one family, other family members know something or someone who is holding a grudge or angry.

Such a stupid, senseless, and completely cold blooded crime. Hope they get this person or persons alive so they can rot in prison.

exactly, which shows not only motive but added emotion to the crimes. He knew them, and disliked a lot of them.. someone that wasn't killed knows of a bad situation going on.. I don't think this will take long

I'm thinking it's actually a family member, which makes it even all the more horrific...my thoughts and prayers go out to the Rhoden family.

Nope, first thing that came into my mind when I heard:

1. Execution-style killings.
2. Rural Pike County.

Why is this not all over the national news. It has all of the ingredients of a classic mass murder spree. I guess Ohio really is the middle of nowhere.
