...Almost got stuck just trying to get out of the driveway today in Canfield...roads were F'd up and all the schools in the Youngstown area are closed.

We probably got 7-10" over my way. The back road out of town was fairly bad but Rt 14 was even worse. As I went North through Ravenna & Streetsboro it was much better. Got to work in Solon and it was nothing compared to Sebring, although I don't think Solon had school today.

Here in Wayne county, all the schools closed....we probably got about 5". Snow pretty well stopped.

The thing that's funny is that I think it's warm enough for this to be rain but we got the crappy stuff instead.

it is a heavy wet snow. probably about 5" where I was and glad I have a big powerful snow blower today.

easily 10" --- tough drive to work; tree limbs downed or hanging down in the middle of state highways.

3 inches of wet ass snow in SE Ohio. It pushes off easily but very heavy. Sticking to everything.

I could've used rrfan's snowblower. Very heavy/wet snow.

Our mail lady loses her mind if there's so much as an inch of snow on the sidewalk. Will leave a note that she's not going to leave the mail if it isn't shoveled. So much for the "sleet, snow, hail, etc" with the mail getting delivered but her dumb ass doesn't have a problem chatting on her Bluetooth while delivering everyone's mail to the wrong house. lol

the wife and the doctor put me on the no snow blower, shovel and you are not 30 anymore warning list.
I got the get the blood pressure back to a better range... Before I can fire up the snowblower ...

WTF? Never heard of such a thing. I always do my walk and a path through my yard to the next driveway....but the mail guy would never, ever complain. He always thanks me when he sees me but it's no big deal.

Can't believe the mail carrier complains about that. Entitled much?

I moved to Alabama this past fall and haven't had to shovel anything. That is nice, although with a snowblower, I didn't really mind. What I don't miss about Ohio winters is the constant cloud cover. It can get cloudy here, but not for nearly as long of stretches as in Ohio. I found that to be the worst thing about winter.

I wouldn't have such an issue if she delivered the GD mail to the RIGHT house. She's busy talking on her Bluetooth so much she's always screwing up the mail. And believe me, if I didn't listen and have it shoveled, she wouldn't deliver it. Female version of Newman.

As far as the earlier mention of snowblowers.....I keep putting this off. I want to get one but then we have a super mild winter. Then the next winter sucks and I regret not getting one...rinse, repeat.

It was a pain, but I got the driveway shoveled early this morning. Its totally clear now. Definitely the heaviest snowfall so far this season. We had about 6 inches just east of Canton. Most roads seem to be clear now.

Makes me want to be in Florida right about now!

BR the next big snow I will bring my snow blower over and we will wait for the female Newman to walk down the sidewalk and we can blow the snow right in her face....

My brother's mail lady in Toledo is the same way. She will not deliver the mail if there is ANYTHING near the mailbox. Snow, leaves, etc. Even if they shovel, the plows drive by and leave snow in front of it, so she just doesn't deliver it, lol. He is constantly complaining about her, and I can't blame him.

I really dislike even getting mail. With all of my bills being paid via internet I don't know outside of what I order on Amazon that I even get in the mail that is useful or necessary. Wouldn't QQ one bit if I never got another letter.
