Depends. If you invest in low risk funds, then its worth it. I was in two separate office pools, and I bought three personal tickets. Of the office pools, I believe there were over 50 tickets bought. Of all the tickets that were purchased... $12 were won. 12 freaking dollars. That's 12$ for all you idiots.

Cuban is an intelligent guy but you can't deny he made his wealth in a very unstable time where he could have easily gone south to zero just as easily as north to billions.
