I never understood why he was holding on FG/XPs.

Because he was the backup QB to start with that year? Generally the Backup QB or Punter is the holder. (I'm assuming you're talking about the 2006 season and the fumble against Seattle in the playoffs).

Also when looking stuff up... I realized I never included the "rushing stats fumbles" I've edited my original post and also took 16 games away from Romo since he really never played in the 2005 season. (If it was included he would be in between Palmer and Brees).

I love how, just because the Browns need a QB, it's assumed there would be interest.....

Thoughts on targets for the 32nd pick?

I think the second best WR in the draft will be available at 32 so it'd be tempting to pass on that value. But, it's a pretty bad WR class.

Could probably use some LB help as well.

Braxton Miller/Thomas, Coleman for WR targets.

Emmanuel Ogbah DE

Scooby Wright LB

Taylor Decker (RT?) would be a nice pick at 32 as well (yes I'm a homer).

I really like Josh Doctson at WR. Going to need some rush LB's for Horton's 3-4. Would be nice to get Darron Lee, I think he would be a good fit in that defense.

Lee has an amazing combine. He'll be gone wayyyyy before the Browns pick at 32.

Fast as hell, but runs poor routes and has drop issues. Has potential, but a 4.32 doesn't negate him being a project.

Josh Doctson is nothing like Desean Jackson.

D-Jax is like 5'11 and Doctson is 6'3. Jackson is all speed and Doctson isn't a burner at all. Doctson is a guy who has great hands and polished, but he's not going to be a deep threat. I actually think he's somewhat comparable to Michael Crabtree (McShay said this) or Marvin Jones.

Now I think Corey Coleman is much more like Desean Jackson. Just look at his catches and TD's in college. Jackson is a guy who is never gonna catch over 75 balls and is usually in the 50-60 range, but is a huge home run threat.

Decent height, fast, no routes, no hands, sounds like a better comparison would be Greg Little?

Not saying he is the #1 WR prospect. But he can play football lol. Not some scrub who is fast and only caught deep balls. He can make some spectacular catches to go along with some drops.

He would be a very poor choice for the Browns to be their #1, too small and the other issues mentioned. But, if Gordon comes back, and you can line Fuller up on some LBs in the slot or take him over the middle from the #2 WR spot, while Gordon clears space that would be deadly.

Agree that he can play. Your scenario makes sense if Gordon comes back and stays back. I wish him well, but if I had to bet...

I was talking about fuller. The guy is deadly with the ball in his hands. He does have some drop issues but I've also seen him make some damn great catches that not many people can do. To me he's a great compliment to Gordon. Not as a number 1 guy.
