Since Jackson plans on calling his own plays, Flip is too good for a lesser job on offense. :( Sad, I did like him... Did pretty well with very limited offensive weapons at his disposal

Terrible move. We should move on from hue.

I don't buy that. But I would like the move. At least the new powers that be understand the need for a QB.

The Vikings have blocked RB Coach Kirby Wilson from coming to the Browns

Hope Bengals pass. McCarron is one play away from being needed, and so far he's proven he's competent. Which is hard to find in a backup QB. If Dalton ever went down and we had to rely on Cassel/Weeden/Ponder or whatever journeyman I'd shoot myself.

I hope the Browns pass as well.

^^^ agreed. Give me Goff over AJ. And I highly doubt that is true. Offering a third and the season isn't even over. Sounds like bullshit

Seriously? Set your sights a little higher than that man. Is this what it's come to from the fan base that they'd want McCarron? No thanks! And a 3rd rounder? Double no thanks!

They should try and re sign him. I think he will have a bounce back year if healthy. Schwartz is the one player on that list the Browns better not walk away though.

Yeah, a 3rd rounder for AJ? Excuse me while I LOL. Hopefully that report isn't close to being true, but it would go back to me knocking Hue for his personnel moves.

Bengals wouldn't do that within the division.

I think anyone would for a backup (especially when he's of similar age as the starter, so it's not like he's ever starting outside of injury). Starter? I agree completely.

I doubt this too. Especially with a position as key as QB. If McCarron worked out and continually beat the Bengals, this would make Mike Brown look really stupid.

This. With the possibility of Mack bolting and, who knows what they will do with JT, there could be three holes on the O-Line if they let Schwartz walk. Not an ideal scenario for any QB, let alone a rookie.

Now Horton is saying he's mad about that report and is talking about an extension with Tennessee.

This is what happens when our beat writers idea of investigative journalism is retweeting anyone who works for a media outlet and uses Browns in a hashtag.

"If" he's the guy...I'm not a fan of the decision but then again I don't have to work with him.
