If you go down the Browns roster, looking at their starters, there aren't many who would be starters for other teams.
Using the Bengals, as an example, maybe Thomas, Bitonio & Mack (on offense) and Haden (on defense) crack their starting lineup. Probably the same for Pittsburgh but I'd also take Barnidge over Heath Miller, at this stage of Miller's career. Gipson would probably be a starter over there too as Pittsburgh's secondary is pretty weak.
There just aren't a lot of impact players on this squad.

Because I don't find it possible to draft shitty players for that long, missing in the draft and FA, literally 90% of the time. I think it comes from the top.Mulva;1770232 wrote:Prior to this regime they'd lost 11+ for 6 straight seasons, so I'm not sure how its hard to believe the players suck.

Gordon would start too. I mean, no team has a full team of impact players. The reality is, the Browns talent is probably similar or slightly worse than most teams but its not a complete dire situation as you are making it out to be. Get a good QB in there and stop dreaming of Manziel improvement being a realistic option.BR1986FB;1770234 wrote:Agreed.

The coaches we get are always 2nd or 3rd tier candidates. Same with the GMs. The only way we get a top tier GM/coach to come to Cleveland is if we over pay or get lucky with a diamond in the rough. That's not really unique to Cleveland but we seem to not find any hidden talent out there very well.Laley23;1770272 wrote:Because I don't find it possible to draft shitty players for that long, missing in the draft and FA, literally 90% of the time. I didn't count Gordon because, right now, he's not in the league. Assuming he keeps his shit straight, he starts on any team in the league.sleeper;1770280 wrote:Gordon would start too. But how many fumbles? Be interesting to see if he "pisses down his leg" when playing a real defense.BR1986FB;1770286 wrote:Over, under or push on Manziel throwing two interceptions on Sunday?

Are they as good as they have been the last few years? Have only watched them twice and Sherman and the defensive backfield shut down AB very well but allowed 450 passing yards and over 200 yards to Wheaton....don't seem as intimidating and dominant.Commander of Awesome;1770294 wrote:But how many fumbles? Well they won't have to worry about "paycheck stealing bowe" nor Johnny Midget tossing 450 yds on them. No home run hitting RB to worry about, I'd expect the hawks to have a "field day" with our "offense".Ironman92;1770297 wrote:Are they as good as they have been the last few years? On the other side of the ball, without a "thumper" at ILBer, nor "terrorizing pass rushers" I'd expect any RB the Seahawks throw at us to go off, and Wilson to look like Joe Montana back there.

Seattle's D hasn't done well against elite QB's.Ironman92;1770297 wrote:Are they as good as they have been the last few years? What should be interesting is how Seattle plans to defend Manziel. A guy from ESPN Seattle was on 92.3 yesterday discussing this game and he said the Seahawks typical game plan is to force the QB OUT of the pocket, which probably plays into Manziel's strength, improvising.

Out out of the pocket throwing to who? Light in the ass Benjamin over the middle? Seattle has a big secondary and we have midget wrs. Maybe we see "paycheck stealing" bowe?BR1986FB;1770334 wrote:Seattle's D hasn't done well against elite QB's.

Manziel would make a few bigger plays but he'll have 4 turnovers in return.BR1986FB;1770334 wrote:Seattle's D hasn't done well against elite QB's.

Seattle, Carolina, Green Bay, Arizona....I don't like the NFC as much but should be some good good playoff games. I won't count out the Giants.

Wish I had stocked up on Kleenex stock, FW would make me a millionaire by the end of the night after that start.
