I heard a laundry list of 1st/2nd rounders they've drafted since 2010 and it's not pretty.

I worry about Johnny coming off the bench now after having been sat down again.

Any sense of momentum or rhythm he was developing is gone, and now if he doesn't come right in and pick up where he left off people will get all despondent and down on him too.

Pettine sets everyone up to fail, which is one of a multitude of reasons I hate him.

This is some of the funniest shit yet... The whole team is in disarray and a major mutiny could happen. Pettine thinks he's a hard ass and will only dig his heels in deeper. A complete season will implode and Cleveburgh is once again the shittiest sports town in the nation.

In 3 years, all pro Johnny will be better than Flacco, Dalton and probably Big Ben. This site is full of assholes that never watched Manziel actually play in college.

Don't know how accurate TMZ but if people think that Browns offensive players aren't pissed at cueball for playing McCown, they are delusional. Players know what the 2 quarterbacks are all about...and they are sick and tired of losing.

Holy shit....idiot post of the fucking century. I've got your senile ass blocked, but I'm glad I chose this post to check out.

I was a huge fan of Manziel in college and one of the few who thought he would step in and be serviceable in the NFL. I was very wrong. Now the jury is still out and he could turn out ok. But to say, in 3 years, he will be better than two current Super Bowl winning QBs is one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this site...and that's saying a lot.

Shut the fuck up you ignorant, senile, mathematically challenged imbecile.

It's one thing to be stupid, but you continue to double down on your stupidity with posts like these.

We ALL watched Manziel play in college. Only YOU are delusional about him.

No, I'm pretty sure we've all seen him in college. Most of us are just smart enough to know that being good in college doesn't necessarily equate to being good in the NFL. Much like we also can shoot holes in your hypocritical, contradictory arguments without any effort whatsoever.

"Hey, you can't judge him bad after six bad quarters, but I can call him an all-pro despite there being no evidence to back that up!!! And when he does bad, it's really everyone else's fault!!!!"

Lol, you're basically the epitome of the biggest talk radio call-in morons distilled into one human being. Nothing but hot takes with no substance behind them. So far, Manziel has shown some good and some bad. On a more intelligently run franchise, I'd think they'd be rolling the dice on him (I mean, it has to be some sort of "Haslem wants some sort of results NOW" edict that has them using an uninspiring vet instead of a young guy they drafted in the first round, doesn't it...even if it's hard to imagine what benefits the probable best-case scenario of going .500ish behind McCown would have for the team) just to see if he's what they want to work with going forward, but it's not like he's gone out of his way to inspire them. A few good plays this year probably doesn't wash away the taste of his fumbling issues nor last year's maturity issues.

Pettine is casting his own grave. To think I thought he had potential to be a good head coach. Cutting Dion Lewis ahead of Ben Tate and Terrence West really just goes to show how bad he is. Nlow....he insists on keepin on with McGoof.

What's just as remarkable are all the Johnny bashers in the media that ape Cueball's "best chance to win" nonsense. There are a lot more than just 3 Browns starters that know Coeball is a bafoon.

Browns probably win Sunday with Manziel. How many open receivers did McGoof miss? Especially the long balls.

Listen up dick. I guarantee you that if you watched him in college...ALL THE TIME....you wouldn't be so ignorant on the subject. Manziel was graded by far and away the most accurate passer in the quarterback class of Bortles, Bridgewater and Carr. Never mind the elusivenwss and the gazillin yards he rushed for. And all you hear from The Bulls, Foxes, Brindas and Bud Shaws of the world is that Derek Carr is the second coming.

I guarantee I've watched more of Manziel in college than Fuckwedge. I have a friend who is a A&M alum. He was on Manziel's jock in high school and invited us to the A&M bar here several times for games. This was long before the national media and this dumbfuck were slurping him.

I actually feel dumber for engaging in this discussion. Back to blocking the village idiot.

Speaking of which....teams that draft a quarterback in the first round....drum roll....actually play their investment. Not the Browns. Mariota, Winston, Bortles, Bridgewater and second rounder Carr. Apparently those coaches didn't receive the memo regarding "best chance to win" garbage.

Ignorance is bliss ass wipe. You didn't watch shit. Johnny was labeled the best football player to ever play at A & M. Not quarterback....player.

Listen up you geriatric and senile codger. I watched him all the time, we all did. You had to be living under a rock or drunk all day like Tiernan to not see JFF play at some point during his illustrious career. He was amazing in college. What he did against Alabama, after Saban had a whole year to gameplan for him after losing the first time, was unreal even though they didn't win.

Guess what though? At the NFL level, NONE OF THAT MATTERS. What matters is that Johnny was too immature (last year) and has turnover issues (this year).

The only person who refuses to acknowledge that Manziel's inability to beat out McCown for the job might actually be an indication of his (lack of) ability as an NFL QB is YOU. While Pettine could certainly be partially at fault, only you completely absolve JFF of any blame for that.

So please, continue to delude yourself into thinking you're right and posting as much, because it's excellent unintentional comedy.

Pettine should call that play where Johnny fumbles the snap, then runs around in circles for 10 seconds, then he heaves the ball as far as he can possibly throw it, and 35 yards later a receiver catches it and runs for a TD. It would be unstoppable in the NFL. They should also sign Pryor to be a receiver since no one in the league can cover him. Your gm friend told you more teams don't sign receivers like him because it would be unfair that no one could cover that combination of size and speed.
