Also, how amazingly pathetic is Footwedge's assertion that "this site is loaded with em" (people that never watched Manziel play in college)?

It's so, so sad to actually argue, in support of his delusional opinion, that none of us watched one of the most entertaining Heisman winners in recent memory who happened to play in the most nationally recognized conference.

Not quite as bad as arguing against mathematics, but still bad.

Pettine wants the Browns to be a "run-first" team....with what? The running backs can't hit a hole even if the O-Line made one( which they don't). The only running yards this team gets, is if Johnny Manziel runs for them. So maybe if he wants to run the ball he should play JFF. Pettine is just another coach that is so locked into his "vision" that he constantly tries to push a square peg into a round hole.

This is a "run first" team, so we are going to cut a potential playmaker like Pryor for another RB waiver wire pickup who couldn't make his own team's cut, and can't even play for another 2 weeks. This is a "run first" team so we don't need a mobile QB with an upside, we just need a guy who is a caretaker, because we are going to win by running the ball and playing defense. (doesn't matter that we can't do either...we just need to execute better.) Week after week..."we just need to execute better".

Albeit, there is no guarantee that Pryor would have been any good, or that JFF can outplay McCown....The point of it is that we don't know because the coach has settled on a course and won't change even when it's obvious that it is not working.

Mariota, Winston, Bortles, Bridgewater and second rounder Carr. Apparently those coaches didn't receive the memo regarding "best chance to win" garbage.

The mistake doesn't exist in not playing the first round investment. The mistake was drafting him in the first round.

Maybe Cleveland could Trent Richardson another try. I watched him in college and he was pretty good.

I put 5% of the blame on Pat Schurmur for Trich not working out.

Is Vince young still around? I guarantee you I watched more of his college games than any of you did. He was incredible and a lot better than Big Ben, Eli manning, and other super bowl winning quarterbacks.

....because, as you say, WE DON'T KNOW!....so right and we apparently will never find out.

I'm now on the band wagon for a new coach.

The organization has invested in drafting Manziel. Fucking play him over the patch up journeyman that was hired. Who cares if McCown leads us to 6-10 as opposed to 5-11? And that's being generous.

And p.s. - cutting Pryor before we could see what he could do was idiotic, imo.

Some gurus had Manziel going as the number 1 overall pick. Try again.

McCown qb rating...82.2 record as starter 0-2
Manziel qb rating 99.7 record 1-0

Who starts? The qback that is 0-2.

Coach like a Brown.

I can't remember - was he drafted first or did 2/3 of the league pass on him instead? Nevermind, I'm using fractions and not his college stats so you're probably lost now.

They have broken more big stories than anyone but maybe Deadspin. Even sports.

Yes, they didnt follow up well on the Miley thing, but they also didnt break the story. Reuters did. TMZ just followed up their reporting by linking the report on their own website. Shotty journalism, but better than breaking a wrong story.

They are far and away the best investigative journalists out there (or whatever you wanna call them), aside, again, from maybe Deadspin.

So, Johnny is a great qb because 1) some draft analyst rated him as the #1 player in draft, 2) he made some nice playground football plays in college, and 3) he might be a better qb than Big Ben when Big Ben becomes old?

TMZ reported that Janet Jackson slapped her niece Paris, daughter of Michael, and called her a “spoiled little bitch.” Soon after they were forced to take down this story and issue an apology to Janet after she got her lawyers involved.
TMZ Admitted Publishing Fake Photo of JFK.
TMZ reported Lil Wayne was in his death bed. Thats the longest living dying person i ever seen.
TMZ did an all-out story about recording artist Tiffany Six getting into a crazy brawl in a New York nail salon. There was video evidence however there was only one problem. It wasn’t her.

TMZ sure is believable lol.
