Yes for the stretching part of the yoga, not the balance and strength.ernest_t_bass;1137406 wrote:Is "Stretch X" a good supplement for Yoga X?

Then it looks like I'll be going the route of your 25 minute yoga suggestion.Sonofanump;1137457 wrote:Yes for the stretching part of the yoga, not the balance and strength.

Biggest loser is a beginner yoga program. Can find it on Amazon for 6 bucks I think.

Squated 315x4, Deadlifted 340x3, and benched 175x4 last week. Fourteen weeks later I've seen my back squat increase 90lbs, deadlift increased 105lbs, and bench press has jumped 55lbs.

I just did my first day of p90X.
I am doing a week of CardioX (4 days) then starting the basic program next week (been sedentary for a while). My shins didn't like CardioX, but otherwise I got through it fine. Can't wait to start everything else.

I think my mindset has changed more than anything else. Haven't lost much weight, but have lost inches.

How tough is core on the knees/ankles? Refereed 16 games this weekend, and the knees and ankles are still pretty stiff. Yoga was a blessing today.

Wasn't too bad. The workout itself was a bitch, but the exercises were all pretty manageable.

I think Kenpo X is my favorite Cardio type circuit.
Also, I am not sure I am eating enough. I only netted 552 calories on Monday. Yesterday I netted 1200, so I think that is where I want to be. Daily my carbs are under 70 and my protein is above 150.

That's really low - unless you're a girl. Up them to around 2k, especially with the lifting you're doing in p90xLJ;1147762 wrote:I think Kenpo X is my favorite Cardio type circuit.

You'll outgrow Kenpo, quickly.LJ;1147762 wrote:I think Kenpo X is my favorite Cardio type circuit.

How much do you weigh if you don't mind me asking? 552 calories, not good. Body will start eating it's own muscle leaving you with hanging fat.

I'm also trying to find something with a decent amount of good carbs to eat pre-workout. I was eating a cup of fruit (along with a hardboiled egg) but I think that is too much sugar.

I have no idea how tall you are or your age buy for a 28 year old, 5'10" male to maintain 196 lb bodyweight you'd need to be taking in 2521 calories. Obviously to lose it would be less but it's a lot more than 552. You will "bonk/crash" soon if you don't up your calories.LJ;1147775 wrote:196 On Monday.

If you have to, get a good protein powder for added calories. I'd recommend a casein over a whey in that casein releases slower and sticks with you.
