Started adding weight to my chin and pull ups this week. Definitely makes it harder lol. Still seeing improvements every week both in my appearance and strength gains through the exercises I am doing. Deadlift is now at 305 x3, Back Squat 280 x3, and Bench Press 155 x3.

I've taken it - IMO it is.

How much harder are the month 2 work outs?

IDK, insanity cardio is my limit. I think I might be a bit older than the rest of ya'll.

Wait...so you bought the DVDs and never tried the second month?

Anyone on here try month 2 of insanity?

Yes, still do it too. Max interval circuit is the toughest workout in the whole set IMO.

I got a good deal on them. I wanted to mix something harder than P90X plyo into a routine.

Yes...did all of the max workouts. Pretty intense. The thing that sucked was that those workouts are about an hour.

Looking forward to it. I had a hard time getting through the workout last night, the plyo cardio circuit. By the third set on the last circuit with the push ups into ski abs i could barely hold my self up. Definitely looking forward to the recovery week, my legs felt like they weighed 100 pounds last night.

If I know I can not make it; I'll do basketball, level 1, then jump rope during ski abs then jump back down for in and outs.

I'm the opposite, i'll go easy on the basketball drills to get a little breather for the plank drills.

I absolutely love it that the videos have the in shape 25-35 year olds who went through the program who are spinning instructors or run marathons have to walk off the set and take extra breathers. </SPAN>

Shaun T: How you feeling Shaunisha?</SPAN>
Shaunisha: I want to go home.</SPAN>
Shaun T: Keep pushing, I&#8217;m right here with you&#8230;</SPAN>

ha yeah. I'm not sure if anyone in the video actually needs a break. seems like he does it so people at home don't feel bad for sitting out.

So i'm doing the recovery week video for insanity - anyone else think it's weird how he gropes about 4 people during the work out? I think he's tried to bang both men and women in these workout videos.

Deadlift was on the agenda for today. I did 310lbs x4, new PR for me. Also hammered out some weighted chin ups and dips. Overall pretty good workout this morning. Still seeing results and progress in my body and all my lifts. Can't ask for much more than that.

Started month 2 of insanity - huge difference from the first month, much harder.

For anyone doing insanity, on the days you had the fit test and the work out, did you do them back to back or at different times of the day? I did the fit test then max cardio circuit right after and i by the end i could barely do the moves ha

Will start P90x (hopefully) next Monday. I'll ask the question again, b/c I don't feel like going back through the pages... how much jumping is there? This will determine where I do the P90x. Thinking about doing it in the mornings, to get it out of the way, uninterrupted.

Just the plyo, which is all jumping.

ETB- Don't do this on concrete. Make sure you have a padded landing space and 7 1/2 to 8 foot clearance.
