Curry is off-the-charts offensively. The best offensive player in history, most likely.

Best offensive player is quite a claim. I'd definitely feel comfortable labeling him the best 3-point shooter in history but I'd take Lebron, Jordan, Shaq, Lebron, Kareem, Lebron, etc. over him. Definitely would chose Lebron over him.

I wouldn't feel comfortable completely saying he's the best offensive player in history, because there's a lot of basketball I didn't get to watch personally beyond the past two decades. But what he did this past season was incredible. You've got to pick him up when he's within 40ft of the basket.

This dude was trying to tell me Houston wasn't the worst team in the playoffs.
His argument was that they had 2 superstars. He still believes Howard is a superstar.
I told him he wasn't even the best center on an 8 seed... and he laughed and said howard is 3x the player drummond is?

I think thats absurd and I'd take drummond every single day. Howard is not only not a good player, but a cancer.
Is this just me, or is this guy just a moron?
Dude, arguing on Twitter is the worst. There's too many fucking idiots/trolls out there, to where it sometimes makes Twitter pointless. It's as productive as arguing with Footwedge was. As for your questions:
1) Houston or Memphis were the worst teams in the playoffs. Take your pick. Memphis had injuries to account for, but Houston took it in the ass all but one game.
2) Howard sucks. But I wouldn't want Drummond either because these guys are useless at the end of close games.

I should've clarified. Season. Best season. Obviously it's too early to say best offensive player ever.

Not to mention he's been an average player in the league until the last 1-2 years.

Best offensive player in history needs a little more longevity to it than just 1 or 2 great years.

BTW, I'm still taking Lebron as the best player in the league.

I'd love to see Curry-Lebron in the finals this year again.

I think both teams at 100% playing like they have at their best is what we all want. I'm not a fan of either, but love basketball in-general.

I'm cool with saying Curry is the best shooter ever.

Overall "best" to me means most skilled in all facets of the game.

I'm good with best 3-point shooter ever.

I don't know how I feel about him being up there with the all-time greats. He still has a long way to go and his first 4 seasons were basically dogshit/average.

I mean he averaged 20 PPG for his first 4 years, not insane, but not shit. Compare that to other sure fire HOF'ers like Pierce, Kobe, Dirk, etc...at the pace Curry is going, he's going to be in the top 50 all-time in scoring in 4 years. Any of the guys in the top 8 or so + LeBron when he gets there are just on another level in-terms of quality and longevity.

Steph averaged 20.9 ppg over his first six years. Kyrie just finished his fifth season and has averaged 20.8 ppg over that time.

Just a small piece of the picture, but I'm not comfortable calling Steph the best of all time at anything. Maybe best range.

Watched about 3 min of Spurs/Thunder and had to turn it. It was unwatchable with the bitching (Parker, who didn't foul but Duncan smacked Westbrook in the face but Parker bitched for 2 minutes)....then Westbrook bumps Parker on defense and Parker flails like he was hit by Ray Lewis.

I cannot tolerate the flopping and flailing of these huge world class athletes all to deceive the already terrible NBA officiating.

It's ok to have a call made by the official and not debate or argue it.

Wow...Westbrook passed ball to official and official held it until Spurs were locked on them....is there a rule or way that is supposed to be handled?

Thought that was BS by the ref

Also thought The refs missed a foul on RW before his attempt at the layup.

These refs suck

Out of a game stoppage, they should wait till players are set. But, since that was just a missed shot OB, shouldn't have held it. Don't have to go fast like Westbrook was and wanted the ref too, but also shouldn't hold it to make sure everyone is set.

But if the refs did the right thing that would add 4 hours to the game!!!!

Again, I wasn't saying his first 4 years are incredible. Sleeper used them as a detriment, and I simply stated that other HOF'ers had similar starts.

Of course, if Steph doesn't continue this pace much longer, he's not even close. However, say he continues at this pace for maybe 5-7 more years. He's right in the conversation, especially if he's sporting 3 or 4 rings.

He's got a long way to go to catch Michael.
