No one is arguing that he shouldn't be. You're going full BR here, arguing with no one.Automatik;1795271 wrote:Steals leader

Add that with his video-game like play and the media suckfest and you will get a unanimous vote.
Just my opinion of course, but I'll be shocked if it's not unanimous.

Prepare to be shocked. It's never happened for a reason and this year there is too much other hype to cling too.Automatik;1795271 wrote:Steals leader

Also, do you think Jordan should have been unanimous MVP when his team won 72 wins?

Actually I am. I don't think he will be. He deserves the MVP though.Commander of Awesome;1795272 wrote:No one is arguing that he shouldn't be. You're going full BR here, arguing with no one.

I'm elaborating on my opinion. It's a discussion, no argument found.

What record did Russ tie exactly?sleeper;1795263 wrote:I doubt it. Curry had probably one of the best seasons in NBA history but so did some other players, most notably RW(triple doubles are big stat lines and he tied the record).

Most triple doubles in a season w/ Magic.

And Steph won't be unanimous. There will never be one unless someone averages a triple double or is just flat out insane the entire season, IMO. There will always be a beat writer from somewhere this will vote for a hometown guy.

Wait, I'm way off.
Tied for 8th.

Do they not talk about Wilt or Robinson much because that's not considered the "modern era"? Were total games in a season different?

Not really. In the year the Big O had 41(1961-1962), they had 80 regular season games. And he only played in 79.

Can't get this to copy right, but from Wikipedia. The 1961-62 season was just stupid good.

It's games played, minutes, points, rebounds, assists.

Both are better players to give a vote to than Melo.Mulva;1795283 wrote:Someone will give Russ or Kawhi a vote

Anyways, I'll stand by my point that RW will get a 1st place vote. He had a season worthy of that recognition.

Gotta love Wilt averaging 48.5 minutes a game. Might be my favorite stat ever.wildcats20;1795284 wrote:Can't get this to copy right, but from Wikipedia. The 1961-62 season was just stupid good.

I think LeBron gets a 1st place vote and wouldn't be surprised if Kawhi or RW get one

Livingston getting tossed means Curry will need to play big minutes this half.

Twitter blowing up with people saying curry better than Jordan. It's so asinine that I literally get pissed off having to argue it. The dude is 28.. has glass ankles and has 1 title. He can't even Guard his own position. Wtf

Wilt does have the greatest stat ever, but that is not it. It is his average of 1.5 per night over 40 years...superman;1795296 wrote:Gotta love Wilt averaging 48.5 minutes a game. Might be my favorite stat ever.
