I don't necessarily agree with it, but Steve Nash received some backlash for winning it not once but twice.sleeper;1745728 wrote:D. Rose is arguably the worst MVP in history right ahead of AI.

Steve Nash is up there as far as worst MVPs. Probably #3 on that list.friendfromlowry;1745732 wrote:I don't necessarily agree with it, but Steve Nash received some backlash for winning it not once but twice.

Or how about Karl Malone and Charles Barkley winning the awards, basically as tokens since Jordan kicked both their asses in the NBA Finals.
1992-93 - Jordan 32.6 / 6.7 / 5.5, Barkley 25.6 / 12.2 / 5.1
1997-98 - Jordan 28.7 / 5.8 / 3.5, Malone 26.0 / 9.9 / 3.8
LeBron not winning it in 07-08 over Kobe, when LeBron averaged 30/7/7. Kobe not winning it in 06-07 over Dirk, when Kobe averaged 32/6/6.

Lebron should pretty much win it every year.

My personal opinion was that Nash was deserving (maybe not MOST deserving, but still a deserving candidate) of his first one, but the second was BS.friendfromlowry;1745732 wrote:I don't necessarily agree with it, but Steve Nash received some backlash for winning it not once but twice.

Can't believe he's still getting seven-figure contracts.

He's a big dude and I think he can play in the NBA. He would probably be on a team now for the vets minimum if he didn't punch his girl in the face.friendfromlowry;1746114 wrote:http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13453841/greg-oden-signs-jiangsu-dragons-chinese-basketball-association

This is a win win for both parties. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this Chinese teams win the championship this year with Oden leading the pack.

A championship? I'd be satisfied with him playing half the season.sleeper;1746117 wrote:He's a big dude and I think he can play in the NBA. He would probably be on a team now for the vets minimum if he didn't punch his girl in the face.

He's good but injury prone to the maximum. No reason why he can't beat up a bunch of Chinese players and D1 has beens.SportsAndLady;1746162 wrote:Oden is not good.

Yeah and he won jack shit in the NBA. He did lead his team to the NBA finals so he's at least 100000000x better than James Harden will ever be.friendfromlowry;1746216 wrote:AI also played once in a while.
