Also I'd love to see a game when they just keep feeding the ball the love in the post etc, make him the first option to try and get his confidence back. Even if it would means taking a loss

I'd rather just put Lebron at the PG spot and move KI to the second unit. Start TT, Shump, JR, LBJ, and Love.

They need to do something there. I've defended him being the third option (hence his numbers decreasing) but even I'm starting to sour on him a bit. Recently, he's just been (really) bad.

Maybe the worst call I've ever seen. They won't call a 5 step travel. They will give 6 1/2 seconds to get it inbounds and never call 3 seconds ever....but now they call 3 seconds on a 2 1/2 second in the lane play.
He took at least that five steps. Bad call, correct result.

A bit sensationalist, but other than that not entirely incorrect. I think we can still win a championship this season with this roster but it won't be easy.

If we don't win, I'd go ahead and kiss either Love or KI goodbye in the off season.

I didn't always agree with this but I'm starting to, especially if they look in over their heads in the finals.

I, like most, don't think the Cavs are going to win it this year but does anyone else think that things are going just too well/perfectly for the Warriors? May be wrong, but at some point I'm expecting something bad to happen to them.

Three months until the finals so there's still a lot of basketball left to be played. If they get there with everyone healthy, Curry still unguardable, and hardly ever losing, then they're extremely blessed by the basketball Gods.

Agreed. Before Steph's breakout year, didn't he have a bit of an injury history?

They are due for an injury to one of their core players.

I wouldn't entirely count the Cavs out this season. They can still do it but holy shit KI and Love need to play better.

What people don't realize are the cavs are the only team in the NBA that can dictate the pace of the game vs the Warriors. Slow it down make them earn there points by forcing them into very contested threes or make them play inside the 3 point line.

Well Lue needs to figure this shit out before the playoffs because I haven't seen significant improvement since he's replaced Blatt.

I agree. Everything has just been too perfect for GS. Now they could glide right through the West and to the championship but one would think they'd face adversity, at some point.

Lue is a garbage hire or more politely put, a panic hire.

I've seen no indication from anything that he's done that gives him staying power as a coach in this league. Lebron's friend status won't be enough long term.

Lol what?! The cavs have never been able to dictate the pace against GS. They own us. The only way we beat them in a 7 game series is with a significant injury or Lebron averages 60/20/10.

My girlfriend & I went over to Boardman last weekend and the guy in one of the stores saw my Cavs t-shirt and said he had gone to the game that Friday night before. We start talking about how tough the Warriors will be and we both agreed that they are going to have to suffer an injury (or something) to Curry for the Cavs to have a better chance. Then the guy says "but I don't want Steph hurt....I want the Cavs to beat them at full strength." I just nodded and though "fuck that, I don't hear Warriors fans saying they won the ring but it was tainted because Love & Irving were out." Yeah, it would be great for the Cavs to beat them at full strength but screw that "they need to be at full strength for it to be legit" crap.

Christmas Day and last years finals and regular season games said otherwise. I'd give the Warriors maybe 2-3 games in the last 2 years against the cavs where they actually dictated the pace of the game. And 2 of those were in last years finals when the cavs just literally had nothing left to give being short handed with injuries.

Yeah, no. I just disagree lol. I don't see the cavs dictating the pace against GS. And I don't think they ever have.

The last 2 years the Warriors have averaged 103 points per game against the cavs. If you take away the blow out win this year, they average an almost dead even 100pts a game . And GS averages 115 pts a game so yes I would say the cavs have dictated the pace of the game quite a bit

Points per game equals pace of play?

That's a new one.

Obviously a slower pace results in lower points. That was my point

I think they did in the 2 games they won against them last year. Those were some ugly wins, and there aren't many teams equipped to do that to the warriors.

Cleveland is one of the lowest/slowest when it comes to pace in the league and is top 10 in scoring.
