Of course the media leaves this out.

Important: Dellavedova had Cavs approval to miss team bus. Delly w/ family visiting from Australia, esp. sister who flew back this morning
That makes more sense. Weird that she would leave that out considering her source was Delly.

Still sticking with the Cavs to win this. Don't know how, don't know why.....Rocky Balboa vs Apollo Creed.

At this point, it's too obvious that the Warriors are going to win this and the Cavs are a wounded animal backed into a corner. That's when the animal is most dangerous.

I have nothing to base this on except "gut feel." I can't see LBJ, at this point in his career, letting them get humiliated.

Exactly. I expect Lebron to do what Lebron James does, put the team on his back when they need him the most.

He's lost in the finals three times before. Did he not put the team on his back then...?

One player will never get it done. If LeBron has the mindset that he has to do it all, put a fork in em. ISO ball is a losing proposition in the long run.

Well, that went well beyond home court bias. That was the worst officiated game I can remember since the 1972 olympic finals.

I'm not a big NBA fan because Pittsburgh doesn't have an NBA team but I have to say James gets hacked and nobody wants to call a foul on the other team.

The officiating was horrible all the way around but Lebron does get absolutely drilled every time he gets down low. Never should have went to OT but glad they got the win!!! Tomorrow night should be electric inside the Q!

“Mostly I looked at it as my fault,” Smith said. “I had a lot of dumb fouls and turnovers. I put ourselves in a situation for us to lose that game. I lost my focus, but fortunately I have great teammates.”
“I was thinking, ‘Please win this game,’ ’’ Smith said. “I don’t want the phone calls, the text messages, the Instagrams and tweets. I don’t need that.’’

Here's a question... Why TF was Moz sitting so long in the 2nd half?

It's simple. Mozgov is an offensive threat but a defensive liability especially on the pick and roll game. TT gives you a defender that can guard the opposing center and someone who can switch the pick and roll and still cover their guard.

I think Blatt will continue to run Mozgov in the first half so he can play on fresh legs and then swap to the younger, more athletic 5 that he had in their most of the second half. Blatt is right, that is the "winning" lineup.

They have played that way for several months; Thompson has been finishing it out and it worked well. However, if GS is going to go to Hack-a-Shaq on Thompson, that could create an issue that may have to be dealt with in other ways.

Let them. Hack-a-Shaq doesn't work. It's a poor strategy.

If Thompson shoots above 60% FT then it's not going to work.

Thompson is too good of a FT shoot to Hack-A-Whoever.

Even last night, they gave the Cavs 2 points on 2 possessions. Thats 50% shooting in a game they went 32%. So retarded by Kerr. It did allow for a 5-2 run (8-2 if you count the 3 BEFORE the hacks), but that is due in large part to JR being retarded. In general, if your the Cavs, you have to love that. GS is a team who wants to get up and down and score easier buckets. Even off a missed FT, you will have your defense set up.

I have been saying all along you need a guy who shoots about 20% for the Hack-a-Whoever to actually work. Otherwise, as Sleeper said, its a losing strategy that has very little chance at succeeding.

Early odds for Game 3:

Cleveland favored by 1 point. Expect the Cavs to be up 3-1 heading back to Oracle Arena for Game 5.
