With 3 and a half left in the 2nd, the Lakers have built a commanding 24 point lead on the 2nd place Mavs. Bench is outscoring the Mavs 28-8 right now.

He's playing pretty well too actually. Gasol went down earlier with a reinjury to his hammy.

Bench play will be key for the Lakers as it is with any top NBA team.

When the bench plays well they fair good against the top teams.

Since everyone on here likes to talk about the lack of a bench for the Lakers, bench scoring tonight:
Mavs - 17
Lakers - 28

Kobe has 15 and Farmar has 12 off the bench. Dirk with 13 for the Mavs.

Can't be. The Mavs are a top team in the NBA and the Lakers can't beat top teams, Devil1197 told me so and he is never wrong.

Kobe has tied Patrick Chewing for 15th all time in NBA Scoring. He didn't score in the 3rd and will most likely finish the night on the bench. 108-71 with 10 minutes left. And it's not really that close.

Never said you haven't, just pointing out that your losses are 10+ points to good teams.

Last year you brought up the same things against the Cavs, they beat the lesser teams but lost big to the good teams. Can't handle it this year, I understand.
