Do yourself a favor and hit up Kilroys. Order the breadsticks with a side of cheese, ranch and marinara. Fucking amazing. On of my favorite cities for sporting events.

Ill be in my favorite city though, Vegas. Anyone have any "sure things" I should be looking for?

I just don't get why UK opponents have come out and blatantly talked smack. Daxter Miles flat out says to the media, "they will be 36-1."

I mean, the game is played on the court, but the last thing I'd do is try to call them out publicly.

Noted! I haven't eaten in Indy when I've been there before so that sounds good. Thanks for the recommendation.

Cosmopolitan buffet with bottomless mimosas/bloodys/screwdrivers (The Wicked Spoon)

If you want nice food and don't mind dropping $50, Bellagio buffet

317 Burger in Broad Ripple is worth checking out, too. It's a little hipster...but they have a good beer selection and country fried bacon which is pretty damn good.

Agreed.
OF course, it shouldnt matter. UK should be totally focused and all of that.

BUT....you can always be more focused, you can always be more motivated.

"They don't play hard."

I mean, c'mon. Most of us probably played at least high school sports. I was never the best on my teams, but I would've chewed out any Freshman who was saying that shit to the other team.

Does UK really matter? The program is going to get hammered into oblivion for violations once Calipari jumps to the NBA and all their titles will be vacated.

Pulling for WVU big time tonight, but I don't see them winning.

No problem. Tons of great food in downtown, walking distance from any hotel and LOS. If you are leaving the area (with the games in town, I highly suggest NOT leaving downtown), Broad Ripple has a lot of awesome bars, but it's a cab ride away and more college age scene.

You don't honestly believe this do you? It's a tireless argument and I get why people make it, but still...there's no basis to it.

I imagine he believes about 2% of what he actually posts...

Although he has been busted multiple times before, the kentucky recruiting machine has helped him get all of these players. He may jump to the nba, but it wont be from violations

Name a program in the NCAA that Cali has coached that hasn't been hammered by NCAA sanctions.

You gotta come with more than that. Each of those situations were completely different and debatable on what he specifically did wrong. We don't have to go into each one (you can look it up if you want), but it's not as simple as "something happened 2 times, thus, it's guaranteed to happen again."

And I'm not a huge Calipari homer. I wasn't a fan of him at Memphis (JJHuddle is littered of posts I made in the past disliking his Memphis style), but he is what he is. And while everyone can question my objectivity (which I understand why), I honestly don't believe any cheating he does at UK is anything more than others do.

If being caught in the past means it's a guarantee in the future, then I'm guess you believe that Bruce Pearl, Roy Williams, Larry Brown and others will also be in trouble when they leave their current jobs?

You're right. Normally he stays out of legit sports discussion threads unless it's OSU football or NBA.

BTW is anyone is thinking about going to the championship game on Monday do it. I've been to two final fours Detroit and New Orleans. You can get championship game tickets for cheap. In Detroit we paid $50 a ticket for lower bowl in New Orleans we only Paid $25 for lowers. Fans of the losing teams sell their tickets and head home early flooding the market with tickets.

Kentucky is beatable. As Kenny Smith said, "They are a nice little college team." They are not the 1996 Chicago Bulls, or the 2015 New York Knicks for that matter. Nevertheless, Daxter Miles is a clown. West Virginia had nothing to lose in this game, everything to gain, and absolutely none of the pressure. Nobody expected the Mountaineers to win tonight.

Any advantage of sneaking up on Kentucky that West Virginia may have had is no longer at play now that Miles has decided to call out the 'Cats in such a public manner. Kentucky is going to destroy them tonight. While I love the confidence, it was a terribly stupid thing to say.

Still looking forward to this evening's festivities. There are some very intriguing showdowns tonight.

That was very cool. Dean Smith was a genuinely good guy. There doesn't seem to be very many of them anymore.

It's his same baseless ramblings as his NBA opinions that have no basis in reality.

Dan Bonner seems pretty pleased that Jackson hit that three-pointer.
