Blacks don't typically vote Republican in a normal election, let alone when a xenophobic racist, who bashes BLM, and is running against a Clinton. And you expect him to get 25% of the black vote?

Pipe dream to get 25%.

Bush 2 won both elections with 9 and 11%.

Reagan was the last Republican to get more than 12%, and he only got 14%.

No Republican is getting anywhere near 15% unless, unfortunately, they were African-American themselves, then they could see as high as 15%, but no more.

If Trump gets 1 in 10, he would be good and has a shot at winning.

Bernie couldn't even steal the black vote from Clinton and he protested for their rights in the 60's before it was cool too and it got the shit beaten out of you. What possibly could make anyone think Trump would steal it from a Clinton?

I don't think anyone believes he will steal the black vote, I believe they are thinking/hoping he could get near 10% like Bush/Reagan did. McCain/Romney barely sniffed 5%.

Trump does not let personalities or pasted issues get in his way of achieving his goals. Good businessmen/women surround themselves with competent successful people, politicians surround themselves with butt buddies, politician career hacks and party yes people.

No, I would love Condi to throw her hat in the ring, but she has always said that is not her thing. She is more interested in Stanford, college football, and hell even the NFL in the future, rather than dirty politics. I will say, I greatly admire her work and would love for her to change her mind and make a run at politics. But, she is more a policy wonk, not a politician. Big difference.

I was more referring to Trump is such a clown that there is no way Condi would risk her professional reputation to be his VP.

And, who are these people you refer to? Are you sure he does surround himself? Will he bring them into Government? Will they be eligible to be confirmed by the Senate, will they want to be? Trump has been very, very vague on this. It is just, "Trust me, I know."

I think it'd be hilarious if trump picked anyone but Christie as his vp.

Christie is some kind of scum to be backing trump right now. He spent a year bashing the guy and now sees he's probably going to be the candidate so he's clinging on to him to try to get out of NJ. Pretty disgraceful. Be pretty funny if trump was like hey Chris thanks for the help but I'm actually going with ______ as vp and _____ as AG.
