I guess option #4 or #1 makes the most sense. I think they should use the 7th pick which actually does not look to be that bad of a place to be, stay put, the worst you will get is Berry, Haden, Bradford or a OL (Okung or Bulaga). This is assuming Suh and McCoy are taken leaving one of the mentioned 5 available. If you are left with McCoy, work the phones to peddle Rogers for something.

I'm a fan of staying put drafting Berry/Haden...or trading down and drafting a LB/DB/OL...It would be awesome if we got two first rounders though...I can't say I'd object to that either.

Supposedly on ESPN Insider there is a blurb that the Raiders have been offered a 2nd round pick THIS year and a 1st round pick NEXT year for their first rounder (#8) this year. If you were the Browns, would you do this trade and have the #7 & #8 pick in THIS draft?

Maybe on draft day, but not before. That's a tough one. I would do it if I had a suitor for one of the #1 picks that would return a proven vet at a need spot, otherwise I'd be less inclined to give up the one 2011.

Do the Browns want to take a QB in this year's draft for their QB of the future? AKA, are they willing to trade up to get Bradford? If they are, then yes you take this trade.
If not, then no you don't take this trade because next year's QB class will be very good and you have to think they'd take their QB of the future next year.

Exactly what I was thinking. Haden AND Berry would definitely put a dent in our secondary issues. According to what a league source has told David White of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Raiders have been offered a second-rounder in this year's draft, plus that team's 2011 first-rounder in exchange for the Raiders' first-rounder this year (No. 8 overall). This would put the Raiders back into next year's first round, as their pick already belongs to the New England Patriots from the Richard Seymour trade.
Sounds complex, but it makes sense if there's some team that really needs to jump over the Buffalo Bills at No. 9 and Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 10. Perhaps someone looking at a particular QB, for instance.

If we had the 7 & 8 I sure as Hell wouldn't be using one of those picks on a QB. That would mean Jimmy Clausen unless they planned on using the 7 & 8 to move up to #1 for Bradford. I'd be too tempted to use both of those picks on defensive studs. A draft like that would be like the previously mentioned Ratturds draft in which they landed Jonathan Ogden and Killa Ray in the 1st round.

I wouldn't want to trade next year's first round pick. It's dangerous business to be trading first round picks. When next year rolls around, we will really be missing that first round pick.

I'm not in favor of trading away 1st round picks either. Stay put this year and draft defense in the first round. Not a fan of moving up to draft Bradford. Snead will be available 3rd to 4th round. Draft him and if he is a head case your not out that much and could use next years 1st rounder for offense (qb?).

Snead was horrible last year...he will not be drafted at all. probably 20 quarterbacks better than Snead.

Snead will get drafted, but his stock fell completely after Ole Miss was getting a ton of pub and they fell flat.

I disagree. We will find out on draft day how much that choice is worth. I say that, because I think the Rams will trade it somewhere. Snead definitely gets drafted, and I think he is better than many give him credit for. That whole Ole Miss team underpreformed.

Besides, I think it's a moot point as far as the Browns are concerned. I think that he could pull a "John Elway" and say he won't sign with the Rams. I could then see the Rams trading with the Redskins at #4.
