Thanks. Now why trade up? Was I thinking Washington would take a QB to replace Jason Campbell.BR1986FB wrote:Matt CasselSonofanump wrote:"but with the Rams drafting Suh and also being the only team with a dire need for a QB in the top six"BR1986FB wrote: It's from the Bleacher Report so take it FWIW....

See, that's the thing. I think Washington, KC or even Tampa (who seems QB "happy") could take him and if not, I still think we'd have trade up because Holmgren's made it no secret we're taking a QB. Someone would leapfrog us, like Buffalo.Sonofanump wrote:Thanks. Now why trade up? Reading into Mangini's comments and the statement about Wimbley from Holmgren, I could see this meaning that they may be close to acquiring Gocong.BR1986FB wrote: Funny how last year info was on Gestapo lockdown and now he's singing like a songbird....

I have no idea why the Browns would want a 6'0 QB who is injury prone

Better than a 6'2" QB with poor mechanics.

Detroit has said they have been engaging in talks that lead them to believe they will make a deal to trade down from #2.

Remember when the Ratturds had that draft where they got Ogden & Ray Lewis? I truly believe that if these guys play their cards right that this could be the draft that defines the franchise for years to come.

They have the picks to go a number of different ways. This should be a good thing and lead to good results. I'm very curious as to which way they go.BR1986FB wrote: Remember when the Ratturds had that draft where they got Ogden & Ray Lewis? I thought we had that draft in 2007 when we got our cornerstone LT (Thomas), a franchise QB (Quinn....way off the mark) and shutdown corner in Eric Wright (he's solid).royal_k wrote:They have the picks to go a number of different ways. 2007 was probably the best draft since the return. Although, the verdict is still out on last years draft. Still a little early to give a good judgement on some of the players.

Depending on his playing time in 2010 & 2010, the compensation (2012 draft pick) for Quinn could be as high as a 3rd....

The OBR mentioned that the Browns may be close on making a move on a RFA player (no name yet).

This is the kid I thought holmgren would fall in love with all along... I don't neccesarly think he may be the best but he has alot of attributes QB coaches will love.

Wouldn't you know it....after we pick up Delhomme, now the Eagles are loosening their demands on the compensation for McNabb and are entertaining offers.

Do you think we would go after him despite signing Delhomme?BR1986FB wrote: Wouldn't you know it....after we pick up Delhomme, now the Eagles are loosening their demands on the compensation for McNabb and are entertaining offers.

Man, I don't know. I'm hearing they still having something "up their sleeve" regarding QB but I don't know if that means trade or draft.Fabio wrote:Do you think we would go after him despite signing Delhomme?BR1986FB wrote: Wouldn't you know it....after we pick up Delhomme, now the Eagles are loosening their demands on the compensation for McNabb and are entertaining offers.
