Well...Pashos is a Band-Aid until they get a young stud at tackle but they really need a tough guard.

They actually could have a void at BOTH guard positions. I think this will be Steinbach's last year here. He didn't play well last year and he really doesn't fit what Mangini is trying to do.

FWIW Smiley never performed well with Miami. He did have a good career going in San Fran though.

San Francisco could be a "wild card" in the Donovan McNabb chase.

san fran better unload someone then. that's WAAAAAYYYY too much $$ to have tied up at QB. (assuming they have Smith, Carr, McNabb, Davis)

^^^^[/i]That could be dangerous having Crabtree to throw to.

Unless he goes to Arizona or Minnesota, his best opportunity to "win now" would be San Francisco. Can't see Oakland, ST Louis or Buffalo contending anytime soon.

Agree. I'm not a pro scout, but I believe this guy is capable of being an elite corner.

Profootballtalk.com passes along an "uncorroborated" tip from a heretofore reliable source that the early Donovan McNabb trade terms with the Raiders would also send Asante Samuel to Oakland in exchange for Nnamdi Asomugha.

To PFT's credit, they made it clear several times that the tip was uncorroborated and it's unknown if the offer has even been made. Blockbuster trades including multiple superstars rarely happen, and this one reads more like a fantasy football mega-deal. Initial skepticism is advised and warranted.

This draft class seems stacked with DL and CB, but seems to be a little light in LBs. I would like the Browns to draft a young stud a LB, but that will probably have to wait until next years draft.

Brandon Spikes could be a good risk for someone to take in the 3rd round.

What about Carlos Dunlap? Is there any news on where he could go or high how of a prospect he may be? I have heard before that he didn't really have that great of interviews...He was a good player at UF

Two names I keep hearing tied to the Browns are Sergio Kindle & Jerry Hughes.

Haden will be fine. Look at the film, not the stupid Combine 40 numbers. He played against some of the best competition in the country.

Second on both but they may have to trade up into the late 1st.

C'mon now, dad....top 15? I think he has a shot to be good but a top 15 pick would be wasted value and a HUGE reach...
