May have already been mentioned but I'm under the impression that the compensation to Seattle for Wallace was a 7th rounder in the 2011 draft.

Haha.

Anyone who complains about picking him up for a 7th rounder is crazy.

Not a good idea, unless you want to use him in place of Cribbs or Wallace in a Wildcat formation.

He has ZERO experience under center in college, and scouting reports I saw (from the Senior Bowl I think) were not impressive.

I didn't get to watch him run, so it may be something as simple as a technique issue that can be worked out come pro day. But if he cannot improve much on a 4.59 time, I don't want him.

Eric Berry would be a dream come true at #7.
Why? Do you not think that Haden is fast enough to be a good corner if he can't run a better time? Do you think it really translates to performance? If so, why wasn't he burned in college?
I think Haden could easily be hidden on an extremely fast defense. There are plenty of CBs who come from the "top conference" in college football who do not pan out. I'm not saying Haden cannot be successful in the NFL, but I don't think he is worthy of a #7 pick. If he were drafted in the top 7, he would be the highest CB taken since 2005.

Dan played in a pass happy spread look. There aren't many college QB's that have had that type of play translate well to the NFL.

How's Timmy Chang, Colt Brennan, or Graham Harrell doing in the NFL?

Reports coming out of a radio station in Akron saying Quinn trraded to the Detroit Lions? Makes NO sense. As I find out more I'll post.

I wouldn't mind clauson. He throws a very good deep ball and is pretty accurate I think he would fit well in the wco

Some guy named "Chizek" from an Akron radio station just reported it on air. Whether there are legs to it, who knows. Let's hope so.

Yeah, if that is true I am not sure what the heck we would be getting except for Stanton and picks.

I've listened to him before. He's pretty reliable. Seems odd if it is true though.

Detroit was one of the teams the Browns contacted to shop him. Detroit has pulled some questionable moves (money wise anyway) this off season so they actually wouldn't surprise me.

I think that Quinn report was not true.

Have not found anything after searching the last 15 minutes.

That tells you what Seattle thought of him.

According to a text I just received from ESPN, Jake Delhomme will visit us tomorrow.

In my honest opinion here's what I can see shaking out.

I think we trade BQ for another pick.
I think we sign a veteran QB, and release Ratliff.
I think we draft a QB in the mid-late rounds, a project QB Holmgren can work with, a Dan Lefevour type.

With the Bengals passing on T.O., any chance the Browns take a look at him? I wouldn't be a big fan unless he can come some what cheap.
