I expect Watson to be signed either today or tomorrow (at the latest). They are giving him the "full court press" according to John Taylor's Twitter account.

Would be a very solid signing and fill a big need.

I'm seeing this as a pretty positive FA season so far, the Browns have filled needs and haven't over paid for anyone, unlike say Detroit who has really spent a lot.

Yeah, the big thing is that Cleveland hasn't had to overpay which is something that they have always had to do previously imo.

I think Cleveland has a big move up its sleeve. I just don't know what.

Per Schefter, not sure it was posted here yet.

Cleveland are actively shopping Quinn at the moment and have contacted numerous teams.

If we lose Quinn, we are definitely making another move for QB.

I guess I'm in the minority that I hope the Browns pass on Haden, unless he an improve his 40 time significantly. I didn't get to watch him run, so it may be something as simple as a technique issue that can be worked out come pro day. But if he cannot improve much on a 4.59 time, I don't want him.

Eric Berry would be a dream come true at #7.

Why? Do you not think that Haden is fast enough to be a good corner if he can't run a better time? Do you think it really translates to performance? If so, why wasn't he burned in college?

Haden played in the best NCAA conference for the past 3 years. I have no doubts he will be able to be a starting CB.

There is a reason the safe choices for the Browns at Tenn, Bama, or UF players. These guys are studs, screw the combine who has inflated some terrible players stocks.

One of the scenarios I've heard is the Rams selecting Bradford at #1 and the Browns taking Clausen #7 and turning around and trading him to the Rams with another draft pick.

Would the Rams really be looking at taking the top 2 QBs in the draft?

I don't get that move.

Why not if they can do it?

They have no QB's worth anything on the roster. Get two top QB's in the draft, have them compete and then choose your franchise QB.

Then you can trade the other later.

Getting two QB's wouldn't be the issue but rather the price you would have to pay for them. I might look later in the draft, I mean yeah you could trade one but still.

Cleveland has been exploring QB's via trade, free agency, and even the draft.

Quinn is being actively shopped and if the right deal comes along then the Browns will pull the trigger.

Let me rephrase...we would trade Clausen AND a draft pick and get Bradford in return.

If anyone QB in the draft, I'd go with Bradford.

He has been effective both under center and in the shotgun.

That makes more sense LOL.

This would be I assume should the Browns NOT land another QB via trade, in which case I wouldn't find too hard to believe. Though no QBs have really sparked my interest in this draft.
