The guy doesn't even like Ohio State...he's just so bored with his life that he gets on Internet message boards of teams he doesn't support to just...talk.

If my life ever comes to that (ie have 20k posts on an Oklahoma state fan forum), put a fucking bullet in my head and end my miserable life.
A passive aggressive troll, and a really shitty one to boot.

And I hesitate to agree with Tiernan about anything but there is something shady about Ginn IMHO.
Shady how? By all accounts, the man has basically saved the lives of a lot of underprivileged kids. Does he get some notoriety out of it? Sure, but that doesn't make him shady.

No need to create a circus.
Circus? I now realize that you did not watch the press conference. Either that or you are in the Iqqy/Failwedge realm.

What article was I just reading that had a lot of good stuff on Ted ginn sr and his program. Really made me appreciate what he does and how he does it. Nothing shady at all about it.

If anything it was uneventful. The highlight was that first guy announcing the whole thing. I had it on for 15 min, no circus found.

The SI article about Cardale. I agree, it was a great read.

This wasnt to showcase importance of anything other than his good ole buddy at Ginn Academy, and cardale himself, wanted some publicity
Shut the fuck up already

The fuck? Media were asking him about his plans in a public setting (ie: shortly after winning the National Championship). Therefore, he decided to answer that question in a public setting (ie: a press conference). Who the fuck has a problem with that?

Uh you were probably reading an article written by Ted Ginn...he writes them all the time to promote his "academy of excellence".

I always viewed Ginn Sr. as somewhat of a pompous ass until recently. I had no idea the impact he had on some kids coming from very shitty situations.

This recent SI about Cardale and his upbringing shed some light on it for me.

Yes, Tiernan, we know. Ted Ginn, Sr. is black, so you don't like him. No need to keep harping on it.

Maybe this just comes from being a Browns fan forever, but does anyone else think having 3 almost equal QBs could get ugly? Someone throws a couple picks, maybe plays a team closer than they should, then media and fans start calling for the backup, locker room becomes divided? Seen it all to often with the Browns.

I don't know anything and I hope it's everything it appears to be. I don't trust anyone that is involved in college recruiting. The whole aspect of it seems shady to me and I think there are a ton of parasites. I hope Ginn isn't one of them.

Noticed this too, why not wear a shirt of the school you are returning to, or even a National Champion shirt? A shirt alluding to yourself is a tad bit selfish after what the team just accomplished.

How f'ing dense are you to say that and not account for the fact 3 years, and much growing up, have passed since then?

Here's the answer: dense as a ton of bricks.

I've heard he can't even start throwing till almost week 1 of the season. If that's true a transfer doesn't make sense unless it's to a system he's familiar with like Houston.

^^^
and that's exactly what you get when Ted Ginn is the Man Behind The Curtain calling the shots. I'm sure Urban would love to see him out of the picture because he obviously is pulling strings with Cardale, thus the location, the long delay, the odd start and introductions etc etc...I'm hoping it all means good things for Buckeye Nation but I've got a bad feeling about this.
