BTW, I think a 59% completion percentage, over 5000 yds passing as well as 50+TD's passing...says differently. Add in 3000 rushing yds and over 30 TD's running...well...facts are facts.

And he is pretty damn good. Barrett and Jones just happen to be better. Well Barrett is for sure. Too soon to tell about Jones.

I think you can make a solid argument for Barrett > Miller, but not for Jones....and I'm all for Cardale starting next year.

3 games is just that, 3 games. I need to see a lot more from Jones to put him in the same class as Miller. He was third string for a reason.

Ohio State converted 52% of their third downs last year compared to 47% the previous year with Miller. I think a lot of that had to do with Barrett and Jones being more accurate/reliable passers.

And none of this is saying Miller isn't good, it's just that while he's one of the top QBs in the nation I happen to think JT Barrett is more consistent in the offense because his accuracy is better.

Barrett projected over 3 years crushes all those passing stats, and is about equal in rushing.

Edit: If you extrapolate Barrett's 2834 yards from 12 games over the 36 Braxton started, he'd have 8,502 yards, 102 tds, 2,814 rushing yards and 33 rushing tds

If you're going to compare someone's 3 years vs someone's one year, yeah projections aren't the end all, but to say they're meaningless seems wrong.

All I know is that I feel a lot more confident with Barrett and Jones in the game on a 3rd down with the game on the line
