Ok so you've been to two Kent State and Central FL games amirite? Take a look at who leads the OC Bowl pick 'Em pool (you know the one you were too big a wimp to get in?) to see MY track record Snuffy. Please just stay away from Dallas - you're jinxed.

Where are you seeing $375? Stubhub is at like $473 and I've not gotten tickets from anywhere else. Oregon has them for sale on their site for $470(after fees) in their section which means there will probably be quite a few Ohio State fans with them.SportsAndLady;1693691 wrote:No you're right. Nosebleeds at $375 right now.
Anyone ever been to cowboy stadium? I imagine nosebleeds are pretty horrible seats lol the stadium is so huge I might try and spend an extra $100 and get in the 200's

Just saw on Twitter that Oregon has started classes for this semester, so they are limited to 20 hours of instruction for the week, OSU is unlimited because classes don't start until Monday. That seems a bit unfair.

Oregon's compliance department will be turning their heads the other way this week. Don't blame them when the rules penalize them relative to OSU.se-alum;1693810 wrote:Just saw on Twitter that Oregon has started classes for this semester, so they are limited to 20 hours of instruction for the week, OSU is unlimited because classes don't start until Monday. I'll blame them but Oregon cheating would be nothing new. I really don't care if Oregon practices day and night; they aren't going to be able to move the ball when Bosa/Lee/Bennett/Miller/Washington are constantly in their backfield beating the shit out of the the Heisman trophy winner. Mariota will drop from the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft to the bottom of the 7th round after the game.

If any of you guys are there and want to try and meet up Monday (or even Sunday night) before the game for a drink, let's do it!

Let's get a little OC gathering going. We're all going to be there and more than likely in the same tailgate area.

Ah, I haven't bought tickets through there before. And just checked it out, for 2 seats listed at $388 they end up costing $492 after fees and shipping. That is a serious service fee. Stubhub is at least 100% all in(not sure about shipping though).wildcats20;1693822 wrote:Go all the way through to check out. They don't add fees til the end.

Yeah Vivid Seats has good prices. Then you get their outrageous fee. I've found it cheaper on StubHub for most things.

Is is $1250 per player for his set of parents?se-alum;1693376 wrote:CFB Playoff just announced $1250 stipend for players parents to attend game. Urban has been pushing hard for this.
Just curious.
I know the players get 4-6 free tickets to the game. 1250 would be a nice chunk to be able to go to the game.

I understood it as $1250 per parent/guardian, but I haven't really looked at it since the announcement. The details aren't always 100% correct when news first breaks. It will be interesting to see how it actually works out, because, lets be honest, the parent/guardian situations for some of these kids could be pretty murky.thavoice;1694053 wrote:Is is $1250 per player for his set of parents?

What do you mean? The parents book their travel, give their receipts to the school/NCAA and they'll be reimbursed up to $1250 per parent/guardianse-alum;1694080 wrote: It will be interesting to see how it actually works out, because, lets be honest, the parent/guardian situations for some of these kids could be pretty murky.

Yeah, have to wonder how it will work out with the birth parents, step parents, guardianship, etc.se-alum;1694080 wrote:I understood it as $1250 per parent/guardian, but I haven't really looked at it since the announcement. $1250 would be a pretty good chunk of change if it is per parent with the free tix.

For this year the answer is yes. Not sure about going forward but I read it as a reimbursement for this year.thavoice;1694084 wrote:It is a reimbursement type of thing for sure?

I mean as far a who qualifies as a parent/guardian, and how many can be claimed by each athlete.lhslep134;1694082 wrote:What do you mean? The parents book their travel, give their receipts to the school/NCAA and they'll be reimbursed up to $1250 per parent/guardian

Saw that Smith is pushing to have the parent stuff all rolled into the team charter and hotel in the future, so no money ever actually changes hands.Terry_Tate;1694085 wrote:For this year the answer is yes. Not sure about going forward but I read it as a reimbursement for this year.
