Mariota > Masoli and it's not even close.
Mariota could be fucking Peyton Manning back there; who gives a fuck? The front 7 of Ohio State is disgustingly good; even at the 2 deep. Mariota will have about 3 seconds to throw a pass every down and good luck running the ball.

It's the same shit every year. Oregon hangs up big points with a gimmick offense against powderpuff competition and then when faced with anyone who has a top 50 LB on the team they get shit stomped. And yes, FSU is powderpuff competition.

Yup^ sucks because after moving here I finally could see the Buckeyes where I live better yet for a championship but there's no way in hell I'm paying $700 for a game ticket

It's a national championship game and everyone knows OSU travels well. Same reason Sugar was much more expensive than Rose. Get over it.

My BIL gets 4 tix for every game. He, 2 cousins, and a friend went to NOLA. I'm not 100% sure if he has to pay the guy he gets them from, or if they are free. Anyway... he is not going to Dallas b/c of time off work, so he gave them to other BIL. I get the call yesterday from BIL2 asking me if I'd like to go to the game with wives. I had to respectfully decline. #1 - I know we wouldn't be able to afford the trip, and #2 - I have to take vacay days in March, and I wouldn't have enough. FML.

A guy I work with just paid $3800 for two tickets (pretty good seats) and $1400 for the flight and hotel. $5200 for a two day trip? No thanks.

As far as the game, Ohio State should be able to match Oregon offensively. Both teams can score at will, so IMO it's a wash. The winner of this game will be the team that is more physical and commits less TOs. I think OSU is the more physical team and I believe they win this game. It will be a high scoring affair. Keep Mariota under pressure and keep hitting them hard. Let's go Bucks!!!

Ohio State- 48
Oregon- 38

Again, i'm some what in agreement with Sleeper, except not too his extremes.

Oregon hasn't played a team with just as much, if not more speed than they have espeicially on the defense. Hell Arizona, with the 81st ranked scoring defense held them to 24 points, and I mean it's Arizona.

With 11 days to rest up, I really wouldn't be surprised at all if we blow them out. Though I have a feeling it'll be a lot closer to a single digit score.

Gonna go with

OSU- 49
Oregon- 35

Disregard Sleeper's hyperbole, the Ducks are a legit big time Offensive threat and I believe they will give the Bucks fits in trying to adjust to a myriad of changing sets. On the other side of the ball OSU also possesses the advantage over a very suspect ORE defense that has not seen a power running attack complemented by a legit long ball threat. The coaching advantage is distinctly Buckeyes and the underdog role is a natural motivator we seem to respond to. Athleticism across O, D and special Teams appears to be our advantage also. It's gonna be a ball buster of a game.

I wonder if their stud DB and speedster WR are out? The WR got hurt the first play against FSU and had his knee wrapped up during the game.

There won't be close to 50,000 Oregon fans in Arlington for this game.

It will be a very pro-OSU crowd.

On the fence about getting tix to this game
Can get them for $500'ish online.

Could wait until day of to see if they've dropped any bit and if not, just watch from a bar.

Decisions decisions

I vote for going. You'll be at the first playoff championship game. How can you go wrong?
