Not homerism. They both suck but Pryor is better, no doubt.
Sure it is. You always latch on to the OSU guys and they suck at QB. Troy Smith? Sucks. Pryor? Sucks. You also want Cardale Jones after three games.

Just like Cardale Jones, I'd like to see a larger sample size (35 passes for Manziel vs 302 for Pryor) from JFF before saying he's worse than that scrub Pryor.

Pryor didn't make it in the NFL.

Manziel had 3 bad games in his rookie year.

The two aren't comparable but it's no surprise this is an OC argument.

T. Smith is substantially better than Manziel. Come on, why are we even bothering defending a QB that is going to ride the bench while JOSH MCCOWN starts. He's trash, cut him.

Pryor isn't a good QB but at least he actually had somewhat of an NFL career while Manziel has been nothing but a media circus waste of space.

Pryor may have had "somewhat of an NFL career" compared to previous Ohio State QBs. But anyone who lives on this side of sanity would see he had jack shit for an NFL career.

I'd love to see an OSU QB leading the Browns but, for the most part, they're just not good.

Man, remember watching Tupa play for Brecksville in the state finals at the Shoe way, way back in the day!

He had a nice niche being able to play QB as well as punt. I dont recall if it helped him stick around a little longer than he normally would have if he had only punted.

Maybe the bengals can use Nugent as a QB as well since he did play that inHS!

Yeah...not too much luck for OSU QBs in the nfl.

Local boy Bobby Hoying bounced around a little bit after playing well for OSU. Raiders, Eagles..maybe another team. Remember him telling someoone one time Ray Rhoades at Philly delayed practice because he was in the middle of a poker game inthe locker room....and people wonder why he wasnt a successful coach.

Todd Boeckman was on a practice squad or two after OSU.

I think Jones has a shot though to be the real deal

Agreed Pryor had jack shit for an NFL career but he's still had more of a career than Johnny WasteofSpace Manziel.

Does anyone here actually think Manziel is "the guy"? If so, I got a bridge to sell you.

STFU with that stupid shit. He's played THREE games. If you're going to throw Manziel, who had a MUCH better college career, under the bus after one and a half NFL games, you can hardly crown Cardale after three. But again, I forgot who I was talking about. Jones could be good but if I'm a betting man, his play comes back down to Earth this year.

Manziel isn't 6'5 250 lbs nor did Manziel actually do anything in college except for beat Bama 1 time. He never won the SEC and he never won a championship; something Cardale has done + beating Bama. If the Browns pass on Jones, might as well not even watch football for the next decade.

And if I'm a betting man, Cardale goes undefeated next year and is the first QB taken in the NFL draft next year. Hoping its the Browns because whoever gets him is winning Super Bowls.

I didn't stutter. Cardale is winning multiple Super Bowls in his NFL career. But yeah keep thinking Manziel is going to win anything in the league. No one on here forgets you slobbering over Weeden and Quinn and then Manziel; how'd that work out?

All we've proven is your ability to recognize NFL talent at the QB is non-existent at best. I'm glad you disagree with me regarding Cardale.

I also remember you with a hard-on for RGIII; LOL. How'd that work out?
