Agree with sleeper that cardale jones is the real deal. He's a prototypical NFL QB. I'm not saying that as gospel as its only been three games. But just my opinion. He has a cannon for an arm, perfect size, can take a hit, and is crazy accurate for being so big. First QB taken off the board, which usually equates to the #1 overall pick.

which means the browns would have to finish with 1-3 wins this year to get the first pick.

Can it happen? They won 7 last year and could get to that mark this season. Not sure I am seeing an epic bad season unless McCown and Manzel just totally unravel.

Don't worry about the "1-3 wins." The Browns will take care of that. I'm just not sold on Cardale Jones being their guy. That could change but it's WAY too early on him.

And no one on here forgets your "keep throwing 'ALL Ohio State players are the best on the planet and the Browns should draft them' shit against the wall until it eventually sticks" technique either.

I think you have me confused with someone else because I don't do that. What OSU player was I hyping up in this draft? Zero.

I agree he has the size and a cannon for an arm. Mechanics need a lot of work though. I'm sure with the right coaching that can be corrected. It's not like he has Tebow-like mechanics which are almost impossible to fix.

No, I'm not. You were drying humping that worthless POS Troy Smith as the "savior" of the Browns in the past.

T. Smith is still better than Manziel; not sure why you so mad.

T. Smith 78.5 career QB rating. But yeah, worthless.

Guess that explains why Smith is on an NFL roster. Oh yeah, he isn't....

Manziel will join him soon enough.

Just FYI ....on the discussion on OSU QB's in the NFL.... Mike Tomczak had a 16 year career, including leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Super Bowl in 1996.

Yeah, I'm aware of Tomczak playing for OSU but he's the exception, not the norm, when discussing OSU QB's.

That was Neil O'Donnell. Tomczak was the backup.

Couldn't you say this about pretty much every and any school? LOL.

Your hate for OSU is apparent and comical.

No, I'm an OSU fan. I just can't stand blind homers like you who think the players are the best on the planet and can do no wrong. You have no objectivity when it comes to Ohio State.

You didn't answer my question. What schools consistently produce quality QBs? USC? LOL

The reality is no school consistently places QBs in the NFL but apparently OSU is the only who actually gets called out on it.

No.

Miami hasn't had a QB drafted since 2003. And no Miami QB is currently on an NFL roster.

Cardale Jones reminds me of JaMarcus Russell.

He was a huge get at #1, right?

Is every fat African American QB that's coming out in the draft going to be compared to Jamarcus Russell from now on? Jones still doesn't have the sample size to really be compared to any QB or to be declared a "sure thing" (see sleeper) at this point.

Maybe had he gone to Miami....
