Come on. Top 3 team in the east? Give me a fucking break.

It could happen.

Who would have thought Atlanta would be the 1...Toronto at 4?

68+ games out of wade, 77+ games out of bosh, full seasons from Goran, deng, and whiteside, and improvements in depth. I could see them being top 5 in the east under those circumstances. very little room for error though

They got 63 out of wade this year. Should have been more than enough to make the playoffs in the east.

I'll cut them some slack losing bosh for the year and basically having zero depth (quality wise)

Wade/goran/deng/whiteside should have been more than enough. Spoelstra is overrated.

They had injuries all year, guys in and out of the lineup consistently, hard to get any chemistry or continuity that way. If they roll out this lineup next year:
Dragic
Wade
Deng
Bosh
Whiteside
They easily win 50 games, dependent on health. They also lost McRoberts for the year early in the season.

22,5 and 4 a game is pretty damn good, along with 47% from the field. Not sure how many guys are better at sg. Health is always the issue.

I'll revise and say top 4 or 5. Cle, Atl, Chi, Mia, Ind. East is gonna be much better next year and the raps and wizards should keep getting better. All speculation at this point though.

Not NBA talk but saw that Aaron Craft won defensive player of the year in the D League, good for him.

Miami is a bottom feeder until they fire Spolestra. He is simply a bottom 5 coach who became successful because of a player named Lebron James.

Didn't Spoelstra make the playoffs multiple years before Lebron arrived in Miami?

Never got past the first round in the East. That's not very good.

But it doesn't make him anywhere near bottom 5 in the league.

That was years ago. We are talking about now and right now he has a team that was in the NBA finals last year not even making the playoffs. He got carried to success by one player and he should be fired immediately if the Heat were run properly.

And that's about the peak number you can expect to get out of him at this stage of his career. Not sure where the pipe dream of 68+ is coming from.

Yeah, 68+ is very questionable. This is probably Wade's healthiest season the last 4 years.

Do you understand how injuries destroy chemistry and continuity on a basketball team? The Cavs were 19-20 at one point because of this.

No. Injuries weren't the problem. Waiters chucking mentality with Kyrie Hero ball was the problem. Got that sack of shit Waiters out of here, KI on the same page and you see the results.

Neither Love or Lebron were healthy, you don't think that was an issue?
