Figured I'd start a new thread since Pick6 yelled at me.

Anyone recently pick up a new Android phone? I am currently leaning towards the new Moto X but might wait for details to come out about the new Nexus phone.

sherm, I'll be available tomorrow and Friday evening if your offer of checking out the Moto X was legit and you're available either day.

I just picked up the Note 3 a couple weeks ago. Love it, except a couple times a day it will freeze and reboot. Not really a big deal, it only takes about 20 seconds to reboot, but I think I'm gonna wait until the Note 4 comes out to bitch about it and try to get one of those.

I think I'm going to get an iPhone 6 Plus. iOS 8 was released yesterday and it slowed my 4S down.

I think I'm going to go to the Apple Store just to hold the 6 and 6 Plus to see how it feels in the hand. I have to see how they fit in my pocket also.

I'm heading to the VZW store in the morning to check them out too. I"m tempted by the 6+ for the couple extra features and the better battery, but I have trouble seeing that beast fitting in my pocket.

OT: The Moto X is getting some pretty great reviews...sounds like a win to me.

I need a new phone, but I want one under 5" and the problem is nearly all those are mid-tier as far specs. Actually leaning toward LAST year's Moto X.

Although I hear rumors of several Nexus phones coming (from multiple carriers, which would be a first so take with a grain of salt) and might wait to see what's in store there.

Got the LG G3 a couple months ago. LOVE IT. The battery is fantastic, especially compared to my last phone. The camera is great, and I love the screen.

Upgraded to the Galaxy S5 a couple weeks ago. Most noticeable thing so far is that it's battery life is much longer. It's a really awesome phone and makes me feel sorry for those that continue to fall into the black hole that is Apple's marketing schemes.

Love my G3. By far the best phone I've ever had.

Justin - I leave for St. Louis tomorrow at 10am. But I'll be in the office in my house all day today.

Send me a PM with a time that works for you. Offer is still open.

They're probably going to do it in Justin's garage.

I don’t keep up with the latest Cell Phones, Tables and Whatever until I need something better.

What I need now is something that I can make calls, store documents, send e mails, and messages, create word, excel documents with the ability to save, send, copy to a flash drive and print new or revised documents. I also would like it to be able to read documents or books back to me, also a voice typing program ability.

I will be traveling more in the next year …

Suggestion…. What do I need to get

I've had the Note 3 for a couple of months now. Love it for the battery life alone.

I was amazed how much better the battery life is over my S4. Since I rooted my Note 3, the battery life is even better.

Genuinely curious...what is it about the S series that draws you to it? Obviously I haven't ever used a Samsung phone. But in my position, it'd be good to get a gauge of what draws people to the S series other than what I hear day in and day out..."everyone in my family has one and they love it" "customers come in asking for it so that's what I sell them."
