In it until September 14 this year.

The Lee wild pitch during the intentional walk says it all. They just weren't very good, and over achieved most of the season...they sure gave us some thrills though!!!

Technically not out of it but it's going to take a huge winning streak to get back into it and we are going to need a lot of help..... In other words, not a snowballs chance in hell.

If Swisher didn't suck ass. If Masterson pitched like Masterson can. If Santana didn't blow the first half of the year. How many more "if's" will it take?

^ Mine's not a big "if". We led late in two of the three games. Your scenarios involve 50+ games; I'm referring to 4-5 innings. To say we were out of it going into the series is a joke.

He has our number.
It was all his mechanics and they didn't realize it. Detroit saw it, picked him up and he hit like 10 HR's in 15 games with the Mud Hens and now he's killing it

Anybody going to start the Astros thread or are we packing it in? I'll start it if not. Slim playoff were probably dashed by Detroit this weekend but no reason not to finish strongly with the schedule we have left.

Decent write-up on the Tribe from Jonah Keri on Grantland today. Basically saying the future it bright for the Tribe and how excellent our pitching has been since the ASG.
