I wouldn't walk Avila. He is terrible. More scared of Castellanos. Make a pitch and get a .200 hitter out.

At least keep him in the yard so we have a chance.

It's not like the base was open when the AB started. When the base was stolen there were already 2 strikes. He has to try to make his pitch. If you walk him you walk him but try to get him.

I was kidding. Just pisses me off that the guy hits .143 against everyone in baseball and .734 against the Tribe.

I get the argument on not walking him since he had 2 strikes. But you can nibble, if you miss, fine. What he did was throw a frisbee in there breaking right into Avila's wheelhouse.Tribe had a great season in my opinion. Time to start thinking off season now.

That's not true at all. If we had won this series we would be at worst 2.5 games back heading into two series against the Astros and the Twins.

They need an 8-10 game streak. The offense won't support something like that.

I say we package Lindor and others to the Marlins for Stanton this offseason. He is available and would fit our hole in right field since Choo left. We need a bopper so bad.

Shaw has 7 blown saves and 5 loses. Granted some of those overlap, but he is a major reason that we are out of the race. I hope we never see him or Tomlin in a meaningful situation again.
