Our Tribe are playing good baseball save for the game yesterday where the incredibly hot Angels rolled into town, torched our tepees, killed, plundered and rolled out of town.

The Twins come to town after suffering a similar fate at the hands of the Angels but for four games. The Twins have lost 10 of 13 coming in.

Nolasco v Kluber


May is 1-4 with an ERA of nearly 10 and WHIP north of 2. Should have some chances against him tonight.
Tribe are 7-6 vs the Twins this season so far and face them this series and 3 in Minnesota next weekend to close our our final road trip.

You hate to ever call for a sweep but we need to sweep these guys. 2 of 3 is an absolute just to keep treading water.

......I agree...need to sweep. There are enough tough series to be played against the Royals and the Tigers, and with being 4 games back with only a handful of games to go, we need to win every game against the bottom feeders.

Chris Dickerson, acquired when the outfield corps was thin and decimated , was outrighted to Columbus today. With the return of Bourn and Murphy, the recent acquisition of J.B. Schuck from the Angels, and the AAA call ups, there was no real room for Dickerson to get any playing time.

Speaking of that...I don't think Callaway came out in the first inning of the Tigers game until he had already allowed 4 runs. Weird.

C'mon! This guy has an 8.48 ERA!

He walked the first two in the 4th and then next 3 proceeded to get themselves out. He would have walked more. He was struggling and we swung at poor pitches and let him off the hook.

It pissed me off that Calloway doesn't come out sooner. Bauer has been great outside that stretch. Gotta come out sooner and get his mind right.

Bauer has pitched 6 and 2/3rds of excellent baseball and ran into trouble once.

And we can't score.

4 hits in a row in the 4th...that is all Bauer has allowed. This is a gem except for that stretch.

Tribe goes down in the 9th on SIX pitches...and the first 2 were balls. Two thumbs down to Walters, leading off, who swings at a borderline strike sitting 2-0 and grounds out weakly. Way to get that rally started Zach!
