The question isnt whether JJ Watt is the best defensive player in the NFL. The question is it it is even close?

There is nothing substantial to base this on but I could see Bortles with Lee, Robinson, and Hurns turning into a darn good offense in a couple years. Huge potential at WR there.

Saw it and didn't call it.....too much going on today.

Steelers still have no ability to cause a turnover and prove it week in and week out. Panthers win looks less impressive.

So Bortles, and Teddy, both look to be future stars.

Derek Carr looks serviceable too.

Based on not even throwing for 150 yards yet?

RG3 looked like a future star too. I never understand why we are so quick to jump the gun on NFL QBs. Wait until we see them play after teams have a good amount of film on them, before we actually make these judgements.

Yeah....I want to see their stats AFTER the league has adjusted to what they have done well.

Agreed, but on first look, both appear to have the accuracy and the arm strength needed to succeed. Mental make up will be what really determines.

I figured the eagles offense was looking good, but then I check the scoring summary and see the niners are just shooting themselves in this game. Blocked punt td, pick 6, and a punt return.

Yeah, the 49ers are looking pretty bad this year overall. Kaep hasn't looked himself this season yet either.

Agreed. Ridiculous claims.

RG3 was good and then defenses took away his legs, he sucks now.

Bridgewater has yet to look tot he other side of the field from his initial read.

Bortles just did that and was picked.

Give these kids time. They may be stars, but like you said, way to early to tell. They could still end up sucking.

I probably used the wrong words in my description of future stars. Both have looked good so far though.

Eh are you talking about how he accepted the penalty to make it 3rd and 13 instead of 4th and 3? If so, I think you could make a case he made the right move if he declines it 49ers have a very make-able FG... accepting it if the Eagles got a stop it would have been 50ish yarder.

With Dawson they were gonna gets fg either way. Gotta let it be fourth and just surrender the fg.

Lol just came on here to say "turtles you can't defend chip on that one" lol jesus wtf is he doing?

He didn't challenge a huge play earlier in this game that he would have won, too.

Not his best game.

Just finished dinner.

Why not kick it on 4th and goal with so much time left and 3 TOs?

Nah you have to go for the TD there. Still just don't understand why they never ran it.

Because if you don't get a td, you still have three tos and the niners on their 1 yard line.

That holding call killed philly
