If this is how it's going to be moving forward, stop wasting our time and remove the kick all together.
I agree, especially since the networks go through commercials right before AND right after kickoffs. If they eliminate that play then the games get shortened substantially.

They would be shortened by about 10 minutes. Since thats the amount of time all the kick-offs combined take of air time.

And who is to say they just wouldn't make the commerical break after a scoring/change of position play a little longer?

I agree I miss kickoffs too. I always love watching them.

They have a certain number of breaks to get in per hour (usually try to make it 4 a quarter). They like to do them after scores only, but if a team has a long drive, they will take them after the KO, or when a team calls a TO, or an injury...whatever it is, they will get their commercial breaks in.

Its why at the end of halfs, timeouts called usually become 30 seconds, because TV doesnt need the breaks. Or why they will stay after a late score and show more replays, etc.

But, if they havent gotten their commercials in, they will go to break then. Its not going to change the pace of a game at all, except for literally, the amount of times eliminated JUST from the actual KOs.

Some of those are strange.... What state is the Falcons one that is beside Virginia and just below Maryland??? It says Falcons but isn't that considered Virginia....and Virginia is the Redskins

Colts and Nevada? Rams in Alaska? Panthers in Hawaii

Steelers in Arkansas?

Browns in Oklahoma?

Redskins in Nebraska?

Assuming most of those with big players from those states/colleges in those states

DC isn't there....that is there at the Chesapeake Bay. Like Ocean City Maryland and it goes down thru Assateague Island and into Virginia

I've said multiple times I'd rather my Steelers lose convincingly throughout the game opposed to finding a way to lose a heart breaker at the end.....but that doesn't go for Sunday or Monday night football.

I expect a bit of a comeback at at KC is tough, but Pats are getting drilled on primetime.

* I jinx proof this post.

Going to your knees an automatic 15 yarder? What could possibly be the justification for that?

This is the kinda game that I am only watching for Fantasy purposes. As long as Hightower doesn't do anything in these final three minutes I'll pull off a close win.

Think the "can't leave your feet in a TD celebration" rule was implemented a couple of seasons ago. Pretty dumb.

it didn't even matter.

Patriots look like shit on both sides of the ball. They're falling in line with the rest of the teams in this crap division.
