As a Vietnam Veteran let me make something perfectly clear to all Americans so there is no misconception of what is required to win the war on terrorist and those who support terrorism.
To survive and win a combat/war situation, dealing with the enemy of terrorist and inhumane methods and tactics. You have to be more merciless, brutal than your enemy but with a controlled vengeance. I said against your enemy, not citizens, not women, children or communities but against those who profess terrorism America and Israel via the means of terrorist and inhumanity against mankind. Take no prisoners, leave no living and show no mercy, let bodies decay and the message be clear… eradication
Every freedom base country, every nation of liberty rights and all individual with the ideology of human rights should arm themselves to fight and eliminate terrorist and terrorism supported counties along with their political system. If as a Country and as a Citizen of that country are willing to fight the fight with the commitment to win and destroy terrorism, the sub group and the supporters then victory and peace can be achieved.

The World also needs to be educated for all people, all third world counties and their people, women, children, social class and elderly. Knowledge provides rational and coherent decision process that develops responsibility to seek freedom and prosperity. Without education the World has what we see in our streets riots in America and in the inhumanity around the World.

I feel like they need to know that America is a bull and if you mess us then you will get our horns and most people in that part of the world can even find us on a map. By re-invading, you are opening up all of Iraq for even more chaos than before. So, if you are ok with tens of thousands of more U.S. troops over there and dieing, then say it.
It is awful, and the beheading was a tragedy, but I am not willing to put U.S. forces on the ground for that, yet.


Others have also pointed this out, if we use force and invade, how is that any different than Russian doing the same to Ukraine, or China the same for Pacific islands?

Sorry Belly, that is just not sustainable. One cannot keep fighting that way because a democracy cannot sustain itself in constant war. The public cannot sustain it.

Plus, it is the whack-a-mole theory, you kill one terrorist group and another takes it place.
And, you can not be merciless than expect the civilians to suddenly be on your side. It does not work that way. The civilians will side with the terrorists, not the occupier. Hello, Vietnam and Iraq showed this.

And, you cannot state you have to be merciless on killing them on the one hand and speak about education in the other. No third party country is going to listen to you if you are killing mass quantities on their own people because you list them as terrorists.
You only create more problems, not solutions.
