Yup. agreed. You like to say I was defending Cincy to the death and that I don't like you because you didn't think Cincy was good... but that's not true. I am no Cincinnati Bearcat fan. My point (in regards to the National Championship/UC) was that Cincinnati had played a pretty solid schedule and definitely looked like a dang good football team. And that was my opinion, and I was wrong.

However, that is the crux of my argument for a playoff. Nobody knows how good anybody really is until teams settle it on the field

The schedule thing was very arguable. CBSsportsline.com had them at like 31 for their schedule, while Sagarin had their schedule ranked in the late 60's or 70's.

To me, they didn't play that strong of a schedule. The best defense they played statistically was Rutgers, who I suspect had a lot of help due to playing 2 FCS schools, along with 2 schools 3 years removed from the FCS.

But I digress.

As much as I hate Florida, and Tebow, this is what Cincy fans, and defenders needed to see to get off the high horse (not particularly you).

It certainly looks like Brian Kelly made the right choice to leave before the bowl game now. Imagine how boring things would be a week from now had Texas lost to Nebraska?

agree. Fox never gets to show the SEC, but what a game to do it. He had an amazing 1st half.

Gators secondary is awesome. Haden, Jenkins, Black, Wright, and Hill.

Cincy did a good job beating the LB's with those passes. Good drive for Pike

I'm not trying to stir the pot here, because I actually think WVU is a team that will compete each year, but this loss to FSU was a disaster. The first quarter, everything was going their way, and then they just blew it to an average and disappointing FSU.
