I have read two articles so far, not one has mentioned his race. Shouldn't the headline reads "Armed black man kills innocent police officers"? with pictures of the police officers middle school pictures next to it?

The Brown/Garner thing was not inconsequential. These cops were eating their lunch. They weren't trying to arrest this guy or anything.

Guy was wanted for murder or attempted murder in BAL. He clearly had lost it and had decided to go out infamously. Maybe without Brown/Garner he would have targeted random civilians instead, but who knows.

Point being, he pretty obviously was going to commit more violence. I see the Brown/Garner angle more as opportunism than motivation. Unless you can convince me shooting his girlfriend was part of his assassination plot, and that shooting his girlfriend wasn't an isolated incident that triggered some version of suicide by cop.

Murdered those two officers in cold blood. This is sickening, the protestors got what they've been asking for smh. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see more of this. he could have committed suicide by cop in Baltimore. even so, he shot himself, which he could have done without the cops. he had to go out of his way to kill these cops, he clearly thought about it when he made the instagram post days after killing his ex girlfriend, it wasn't a spur of the moment type thing. had the cops been trying to arrest him and he started shooting it out with them etc, I might be able to agree with you.

You can attempt to justify this by saying that guy is "Unstable", but this is the direct and predictable result of the failure of leadership to 1)reaffirm the validity and the necessity of law enforcement
2) reaffirm that almost ALL law-enforcement officers are good and public servants that protect the community.(Sharpton used the term "most" this morning).
3)acknowledge and condemn the actions of those that contributed to their own deaths.

Thus is the result when you have leadership that is more concerned with scoring political points and pumping up their own image, than in lawful "justice". Justice is never determined by a mob ...but nowhere have we heard this emphatically stated.

Who's trying to justify this senseless murder of two innocent police officers. But to think that this has something to do with Brown or Garner is foolish. This guy just used that to cause more violence. If it was the case how does the murder of his ex gf tie into it?

There were protesters the other day in DC chanting "What do we want? Dead cops!". This was before this incident.

In my opinion, if a group of protesters chants this, they should be placed in prison.
