Screw body cams - not before every cop has a taser for the people wielding knives or whacked out on drugs.Glory Days;1684750 wrote: of course they are gun shy, they don't want to be the next Darren Wilson.

Rener and Ralek Gracie did a breakdown of the whole situation and basically said that the choke wasn't the cause. If anyone knows about chokes it's them.TedSheckler;1684597 wrote:He had a pre-existing condition. He was a fatass. He also had diabetes, asthma and heart disease.

Yes, you would have to hold the choke for an insane amount of time to do real damage.Zoltan;1684595 wrote:You see people in martial arts get choked completely unconscious all the time. They wake up in a few seconds and are totally OK. This was either a freak accident or he had some pre-existing conditions for sure. Pretty sure I heard a doctor say you have to hold the choke for like 90 seconds after the person is unconscious to inflict brain damage and/or death.

The cop should have just shot the knife out of his hand with the gun.

Reminds me of a story a wise 3rd grader told me once...He said if you don't want to get in trouble don't break the law! Really pretty simple in all of these cases it seems to me that the one thing in common is someone broke the law.

These aspiring young professional "adults" at Columbia and Harvard asking for delays in exams because of Ferguson should simply get credit with no grade - let future employers see the transcripts to identify them, correctly, as "DO NOT HIRE"

I've heard that before...not sure it's that uncommon. Makes you wonder where they would ever get good detectives from.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1684802 wrote:this might explain things

Its not just about how smart you are. Just because you are genius doesn't mean you are good communicator, can interact with people effectively, or can make a split second decision. I have seen many "smart" people freeze up under stress. I don't want them, no matter how smart they are, watching my back. When I applied places, they always asked what other departments I applied to. Some departments even required you to withdraw your application if you were hired. Depending on the department, you can spend $50,000 to $100,000 on a new hire. All things being equal, I am sure everyone would want to have the highest IQ guy, but that's not reality.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1684802 wrote:this might explain things

Well if it's a "Fucking Joke" meaning absolutely absurd for them to do what they did in the article, I would expect the act to be self evident.like_that;1685315 wrote:Reread this whole thread.
Example, "Goodell keeps job after being a scumbag POS". That would be evident as to why him keeping his job was a "fucking joke". However, nothing in that article is at the obvious level of absurdity. Continue to give unhelpful responses though!

Yes it clearly ruined my day, because i was placing a comment in the proper thread. Sorry you are butt hurt about my comment. I'd rather my congressmen/women spend their time actually trying to get work done, instead of perpetuating a lie. Thus why I believe it's a joke. You could have easily gathered that from this whole thread.Commander of Awesome;1685317 wrote:Well if it's a "Fucking Joke" meaning absolutely absurd for them to do what they did in the article, I would expect the act to be self evident.

There are 16 eye witnesses who say Brown had his hands up.
Also must black people always put their hands up when confronted by the police?
