You're right. But neither the medical examiner, nor the medical doctor hired by the family, said anything about asphyxiation as a cause of death. If you were choked to death, the cause of death would be asphyxiation due to neck compression. I see this cited from time to time, so I went back and read the actual article. It basically spells out why Hitler was so significantly dangerous in 1938 and how he may become more dangerous in years to come. I think they called him "Person of the Year" based upon the influence he was having and not because he was a "good" person. ... And nowhere is any kind of leadership stating that they'd still be alive if they didn't break the law, resist arrest, or brandish firearms. It's ALL about the cops, not about the lawbreakers or the parents and their lack of oversight or of how they raised their kids.
Somebody' needs to ask Tamir Rice's Mom why her 12 year old son was alone and unsupervised in a park brandishing a realistic looking weapon. It's a question that you don't want to have to ask a grieving mother who just lost a son in a tragic accident. But she needs to realize there's more culpability here than just the police and skin color..
