Much like in Indy. Hes already proven hes incompetent off the ball. And hes not gonna be dominating the ball in Boston, they already have someone to run the show whos twice the player he is at runnin an offense. Or hell, player in general.
What makes you think hell be worth a shit. Certainly wasnt in Indy, they were happy lettin him sit on the bench especially in the

Just because he couldn't find a role in Indy on a team that was already well established doesn't mean he won't do well in Boston. The dude can play, he puts up numbers. It wouldn't surprise me to see him averaged 15,7 and 4, not that it is going to translate into wins but he is a really good all around player. Needs to keep working on the catch and shoot 3 and jumper.KB0938;1637714 wrote:Much like in Indy. Hes already proven hes incompetent off the ball. LMAO. Dude Rob, what in the fuck has he done to make you think he can avg 15 and 7? He was on the worst team in the NBA and didn't avg those numbers. Christ you just continue to spew your dumbass BS under the guise of being non-confrontational I'm a fan of the game moron. Turner is a bum, plain and simple.robj55;1637717 wrote:Just because he couldn't find a role in Indy on a team that was already well established doesn't mean he won't do well in Boston. He did average 17.5 and 6 for 76ers last year before the trade BUT it was with a TS% of 50.1 and usage of 24% (and WS/48 of .017). Gross.Commander of Awesome;1637728 wrote:LMAO. I'll assume you are saying he did it but in a very inefficient manner.lhslep134;1637782 wrote:He did average 17.5 and 6 for 76ers last year before the trade BUT it was with a TS% of 50.1 and usage of 24% (and WS/48 of .017). Gross.

Even though the Pacers collapsed, its amazing what a difference in a winning team and losing team is.lhslep134;1637782 wrote:He did average 17.5 and 6 for 76ers last year before the trade BUT it was with a TS% of 50.1 and usage of 24% (and WS/48 of .017). Gross.
Turner had the numbers and was playing and touching the ball for Philly. He comes to Pacers and they immediately see he is garbage and doesnt play. Too bad Bird didnt do better research, but in the long run, Granger wasnt helping either...so it isnt like it hurt the team (unless he factored into the collapse, which is possible)

I wouldn't completely rule out Turner yet. He's relatively young and has shown flashes. It appears a lot of his issues are mental, seems like a bitch of a teammate. I was blinded at OSU because he was a baller and you didn't really hear much of his bitch behavior back then.

Ha yes. That's why I added the gross at the end, just for those unfamiliar with some of those stats.Ironman92;1637784 wrote:I'll assume you are saying he did it but in a very inefficient manner.

Odds of him fighting Rondo in practice at some point? 3/1?Automatik;1637787 wrote:I wouldn't completely rule out Turner yet. He's relatively young and has shown flashes. I think the main thing that could help him is being on a strong veteran team. He started on a shit franchise that has been actively trying to lose games, which can lead to the sort of stats LHS posted (average-or-so player putting up high-quality numbers due to horrid efficiency) and then went to an Indiana team that was very good, but as their meltdown showed last year, wasn't exactly a stabilizing influence on a player who'd gained bad habits from essentially being an average guy with a green light to do whatever because his team wanted to lose, leading them to essentially lock him away because he didn't fit in.Automatik;1637787 wrote:I wouldn't completely rule out Turner yet. If things go well, he has the potential to be a decent third option sort, but his current career arc is pointing towards being a lot less than that.

This NBA GM simulator is fun as hell, ive been playin around with it the past few weeks. Once you insert the real rosters and manage real players instead of randomly generated ones it gets real interesting. Kills time

No idea but FWIW on of my buddies who lives in Phoenix texted me yesterday saying he had read some sources that they're (Suns) looking hard into Monroe.Commander of Awesome;1637799 wrote:Anyone know what's going on with Greg Monroe?
This makes me think they're ready to move on from Bledsoe and replace that salary with Monroe's, assuming Detroit doesn't match.

I read yesterday they will match anything for Bledsoe and are going after Monroe despite that.lhslep134;1637802 wrote:No idea but FWIW on of my buddies who lives in Phoenix texted me yesterday saying he had read some sources that they're (Suns) looking hard into Monroe.

Think I saw on Twitter yesterday they could still sign Bledsoe to what he's looking for but it'd potentially kill their cap space in a few years. Although teams should be thinking like players, in 2 years the cap should be much higher so these contracts won't look as bad by then.lhslep134;1637802 wrote:No idea but FWIW on of my buddies who lives in Phoenix texted me yesterday saying he had read some sources that they're (Suns) looking hard into Monroe.

SMH, look at his numbers with Philly who was a bad team. He is going to another bad team, not unlikely he puts up those numbers. He's not an efficient player but he puts up numbers and can do a little bit of everything. Please continue to pick through my posts though and call me an idiot even though you're wrong. Hope you get some satisfaction out of it.Commander of Awesome;1637728 wrote:LMAO. Dude Rob, what in the fuck has he done to make you think he can avg 15 and 7? 3/1 is good...for the first day when they're meeting each other. Over the season, 1/10.lhslep134;1637790 wrote:Odds of him fighting Rondo in practice at some point? 3/1?

Last I read was that a possible sign and trade deal of Bledsoe to Detroit for Monroe.
Also, Boston...
PG-Rondo, Smart
SG-Bradley, Thornton
SF-Green, Turner, Wallace
PF-Sullinger, Bass
C-Olynyk, Zeller
They have 18 players on their roster and 15 are guaranteed. Eventually Rondo will get dealt, possibly Green too. Smart, Thornton, Turner should be a nice back-up backcourt.
